The hotel is a passable 3 star hotel. The room was a good size with a double bed and sofa.
The breakfast had a decent amount of choice with a surprising good fruit selection, although the hot food did not meet expectations. I found the dining area quite dark.
I found it strange that I had to hand in the keys to my room every time I left the hotel - maybe this is normal but i've not experienced it before.
Kelso is a nice stopover with nice shops etc nearby.

Central in town. Polite staff. Room was very clean, well made up and just perfect for my stay. Shower was also very hot and easily controlled. Coffee/Tea facility in room with various water too.
