Located in the centre of Edinburgh, just a few minutes’ walk from the Royal Mile and 650 yards of The Real Mary King's Close, Market Street forms part of Edinburgh’s historic skyline. First, the location was perfect for our stays. We used the trains several times and loved that our walk to the station was less than 3 minutes. Second, the rooms (we had 2 different rooms) were quiet and dark (which we have at home and love); third, the rooftop bar/breakfast area was extraordinary! Fourth, the thoughtfulness in the design of the rooms did not go unnoticed - reading lights bedside, charging areas next to bedside, the solid wood door that slides to block daylight, the complimentary refreshments in the drawer, the hair dryer and straightening iron, robes and slippers. Lastly, it's a testament to the bedding and linens - my husband and I slept great, and that never happens at a hotel. We loved our stay!

The Witchery by the Castle offers a range of opulent suites in Edinburgh, each one unique with its own special features. I surprised my husband for our 16years anniversary and it was all that I expected. We had an incredible time and everything was perfect. The breakfast in room was delicious, dinner was great too. The staff was also very friendly. We can’t wait to come back :)

Just metres from Holyrood Park, Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood features an award-winning restaurant and spa. With Edinburgh Castle just a mile away, guests have free WiFi access and large rooms. The hotel is in a great location. Handy for the Royal Mile but avoids the noise at night! Really close to Holyrood Palace. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

Virgin Hotels Edinburgh features a fitness centre, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Edinburgh. This 5-star hotel offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. I'm not getting paid to write but this :-) but without exaggeration, the Virgin Hotel Edinburgh is simply perfect! Perfectly situated, exceptionnel, modern design and furnished rooms, perfect view to Edinburgh castle (which was right in front of us and could look at it while lying in bed), very clean and a great staff from front desk to breakfast service! We even got a little treat for our wedding anniversary. From now on, I definitely know where to stay whenever I visit Edinburgh! Thank you for some memorable days, Virgin Hotel!

OMHOG! (Oh My House of Gods) what’s not to like? This was the highlight of our trip! Awesome staff, beautiful accommodations. I fell on the last night of our stay and broke my patella, (kneecap), which really put a dent, pardon the pun, in the next day, where we had planned to go to the Edinburgh castle and see some other sites that we had missed. When I got back to the hotel the staff ran around like doctors in an emergency room with ice and heat and shots of tequila to take away the pain. Upon arrival we were greeted with a tray with two glasses of Prosecco. The room is small but very well equipped, state of the art everything. We were treated like royalty on the Royal Mile, we were treated like gods. I can’t wait to go back!

Boasting stylish rooms with plasma-screen TVs and wall-sized magnetic maps, this refurbished hotel is 800 metres from Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station and 300 metres from the Royal Mile. the location was central and walking distance to sights we wanted to see. The rooms were comfortable. A delicious breakfast was provided in the hotel. 24 hour staff were friendly and helpful. There is a lift.

Cosy, convenient and super chic, the 4-star Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel has rooms with extraordinary views and is designed for special stays. The breakfast was wonderful. Everyone was so nice and accommodating to our needs. The decor of the hotel was very charming. We sat by the fire chatting and making new friends. A lovely experience.

Overlooking sa Edinburgh Castle at Waverley Station, ang 4-star Scotsman Hotel ay itinayo noong 1905. Ang marilag na listed building na ito ay ang dating The Scotsman newspaper. Everything, from location to friendly staff and nice decor.
