Perfectly close to the old town with 15-20 min walk to reach it and perfectly far to relax in the quiet room. Staff is very professional and helpful, clean rooms, comfortable bed and fantastic breakfast. Our weekend in Edinburgh will truly be one of the best trips so far.

A 20-minute walk from Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile, this boutique bed and breakfast has a historically listed façade and a charming old staircase. Wi-fi is free throughout the building. The location was perfect - close to the tram and inner city.

The Haymarket Hotel in Edinburgh city centre is located down a cobbled street in the historic Haymarket area. The whole experience was fantastic from checking in to staying at the Haymarket Hotel. The room was very quiet at night, no street noise which was ideal. There was enough space to work from the room. The bed was really comfortable. The room was beautiful and clean. The hotel is within walking distance to the shops and the sights. If you enjoy walking you can get to all the major attractions along the high street. There are little shops in the area to pick up essentials if you need to. The restaurants around the hotel are also great and convenient. I found the proximity to the station very convenient especially when you need to get to and from the airport with luggage. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
