Sergio and Mileidy are fabulous hosts and couldn't do enough to help (e.g. arranging taxis etc. for me as I didn't have a car). The food was exceptional - breakfast and dinner were delicious, creative and beautifully presented and they had decent wine and beer available if you want it.

Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy walking tours nearby, or make the most of the garden. We had such a lovely stay at Baliyana lodge. This place is a gem and Nathalie and Yannick are wonderful and helpful hosts. The accommodations are serene and beautiful, nestled in a quiet location surrounded by the jungle and the sounds of playful monkeys. At night, you can see all the stars in the galaxy from the stunning infinity pool and the garden grounds. The drive to get there can be a bit off-putting at first but you will quickly get used to it (maybe don't plan your first arrival for night and reserve an SUV). The WI-FI is weak and there are no TVs in sight, so plan to sign off completely and be intentionally and mindfully in the moment. You won't regret it. This is honestly the best place to do that, with a lovely and delicious curated breakfast in the morning. The lodge may seem remote but there are beautiful beaches and a few delicious restaurants a short drive away - Playa Avellanas and Il Rustico were our favourite. Tamarindo is a very doable 20 minute drive away. Do not hesitate to book this as your Costa Rican Pacific beach accommodations.

We enjoyed Marita's wonderful breakfast as we gazed over beautiful foliage and bird-watched. The hosts gave excellent suggestions about area activities and provided a very helpful map. Watching the sunset from the nearby lake park was terrific.

This place as absolutely amazing if you like comfort and peace We were 4 kilometers from tamiando and had a beautiful room with outside hammocks and an infinity pool Breakfast was great homemade crepes and yogurt with fresh fruit coffee and juice Amazing host and great place definitely 125 percent recommend staying here

A car rental service is available at the bed and breakfast. The hosts were so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Close to town, but out of the hustle and bustle. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool. Good value for money.

Venado Caves is 20 km from Casa Donna Rosa B&B, while Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park is 31 km from the property. The nearest airport is Fortuna, 55 km from the bed and breakfast, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Everything was amazing!! The room and bathroom were very spacious yet felt cozy, almost like you were in your own home. The hosts were super accommodating and helped us plan our outings and provided us with things to do that no book or website could offer. The breakfasts were top notch and so so delicious that we we looked forward to them each morning. Can't say enough about how great this place was. No detail was too small for them to ignore and help out with. Would go back again 10 out of 10 times.

The bed and breakfast offers a year-round outdoor pool. The villas are immersed in trees, you can hear the monkeys at night, the room is spacious and it has lots of storage. The pool was great when you get back from exploring the area. the breakfast is incredible. The owners are really nice and full of suggestions on things to do. would definitely return.

Monika and Rob are brilliant hosts, so helpful and made us feel so welcome. Lucky Bug is in a beautiful setting with small lake and rain forest all around and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. Eating on the terrace over looking the lake is a great spot to eat and the food is really good - great breakfast every day! Would thoroughly recommend Lucky Bug.
