Beautiful accomodation, I loved the room and the attention to details (beautiful old furniture nicely integrated in the design of the room, inside of the wardrobe painted in the same color as the walls, a real well cared orchid in the room). Roberto is an amazing host, very nice and he knows a lot about the area. We went with his recommendations and we had a beautiful day. The garden of the house it’s not big, but really quiet and enjoyable. We also had a lovely dinner at their restaurant (Antico Convento, at about 15-20 min drive from the accommodation). Verduno is a small central village in Barolo country, easy for getting around. Property is modern and clean. Staff are engaging and helpful in all ways. Pool was lovely for relaxing after a day exploring the area. Full breakfast each morning was delightful. Rooms overlooking the vineyards are worth the upgrade, though our ground floor terrace was also nice. Free parking and easy in/out - no tiny roads to navigate. Will certainly return!

If you are looking for the traditional/rustic/romantic Italian ultimate experience, this is it! - the Castle is incredibly well renovated (and with great taste) - The staff is amazing. Really kind and always there to help! Shout out to Giulia and the guy serving Breakfast and Aperittivo (we forgot to ask his name). - The food is out of this world. We actually didn’t had the chance to try the restaurant dinner since the restaurant is now closed for refurbishment. But don’t worry about this, the hotel serves Aperittivos big enough to replace dinner! - the surroundings are incredible. Tipical italian village. Bring your trail shoes to explore everything!
