The Tamara Coorg is a 5-star property about 8 km from Nalkanad Palace and Thadiandamol. The monsoon season with cascade of natural streams and the perpetual noise of cicadas, nature at its best. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful everywhere.

Välibasseini, tasuta privaatse parkimise, spordikeskuse ja aiaga Coorg - Luxury by Lemon Tree Hotels asub Madikeris, 7,7 km kaugusel Raja Seatist. We definitely loved our stay at the Aurika Coorg hotel! Everybody was so friendly and welcoming. All the staff made us feel welcome. The resort is beautifully situated in lush green surroundings with amazing views. It even has its own coffee plantation! Our room was big and tastefully decorated. We went on the morning nature walks with bird expert Ganesh who showed and explained to us many birds and plants. In the evening we listened to nature and culture stories also presented by Ganesh. For the Holi festival a great party was organized by the hotel and we had a lot of fun! Food was very good (one evening there was a buffet and the other night a la carte). Also to be recommended is the spa where Nancy and her colleague offer quality massages. We definitely could have stayed longer and I am sure we will come back to this wonderful place!

I have stayed in various hotels and resorts including Taj, Radisson, swissotel, intercontinental to name a few. But Coorg wilderness resort outshines all of it. The word excellent is insufficient to describe the resort. The best highlights are the location, food including dinner and breakfast. Also to note the staff are highly trained, kind and the best I have come across so far. I have to agree Paul John resorts have maintained excellent quality in all aspects.

The Birchwood Retreat, Madikeri asub Madikeris, 16 km kaugusel Madikeri kindlusest. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, spordikeskus ja aed. The staff was very accommodating and courteous. A must mention is the breakfast spread- absolutely amazing and the experience is enhanced when the ever generous staff serves with a bright smile.

Koloniaalstiilis mööbliga majutusasutus The Old Kent Estates asub Suntikoppas keset suurt 200 aakri suurust kohviistandust. Kohapeal on spaa, mängude tuba ja tasuta erinevad taime- ja loomastikud. Good resort. Nice ambience in middle of jungle.

Perched 4000 feet above sea level on a peaceful hillside is Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa Coorg. Service by the staff was excellent. Property Podium was mesmerising. Rooms were superb. Gym facility was very good. Indoor Pool had super view. Food was amazing - whether Coorg Speciality or Continental. Shaun / Anand / Soumadeep / Arun / Ronak / Asish / Akshay / Wuimi / Ali and other staff (including house keeping / Buggy service / property upkeep staff ) were very hospitable and that made the whole experience a memorable one.

Machaan Wilderness Lodge Nagarahole asub Srimangalas, Thirunelly templist 24 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on concierge, toad, välibassein, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja aed. 2003. The staff was incredibly hospitable and kind. Thank you especially Panish & Gowtham, for making our stay memorable! They made you feel most welcome and did everything to improve the stay. For example; we arrived just after the pool closed down, but they re-opened it just for us. They made a bonfire, just for us. We got a lunch on the day we were leaving even though technically that was not included. Very kind and attentive people. The Lodge itself was beautiful, very nice views (see picture), lots of wildlife and birds. Among many birds, we saw the gliding squirrel and the gliding dragon lizard. They staff (of which they had a few wildlife experts!) offered two different walks; one in the evening and one during the day. The food the lodge offered was amazing. The rooms spacious and clean. We also went on a safari in the nature park nearby, where we spotted lots of the local wildlife.
