Facing the beachfront, Nils am See offers 4-star accommodation in Weiden am See and has a garden, terrace and restaurant. Beautiful and peaceful hotel with friendly staff. Walking distance from the train station. The rooms are very comfortable, well sound-proofed and beautifully decorated. The breakfast had delicious local products and they provided gluten-free bread on request. The electric bike rental at the hotel was also great for a day trip. Lunch at the pool bar was very good and the drinks prices very reasonable. Would 100% stay again.

Located within 12 km of Mönchhof Village Museum and 13 km of Castle Halbturn, 25h SPA-Residenz BEST SLEEP privat Garden & POOLs features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Neusiedl... Apartment is large and spacious, amenities a numerous (hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel, cooking equipment, pans etc.). Furniture is modern and everything is new. Spa area and pool is amazing. Indoor pool water is heated. It says 33 degrees. There are plenty of saunas and everything is equiped. Garage spaces are excellent as well.

Set in Hegykő, 7.3 km from Esterhazy Castle, Hotel HegiQ - Adults Only Hotel offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. It's not often you get to stay in a one-month old hotel, but this one is brand new (late September-early October 2022). It is hidden away on a side street in a small forgettable village, which keeps it quiet at night. It's all new and absolutely spotless, and includes a nice spa and wonderful sauna and two hot tubs on the ground floor, and access across a lawn to a 7-pool swimming and hot spring water resort (which is not new and is shared with an adjacent camp ground). Rates include dinner, and the wine list is quite reasonable and includes some wines made in the same and in the next village. Both dinner and buffet breakfast were good if not quite gourmet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, all bilingual in Hungarian and German. (Don't know about English because I speak both Hungarian and German, never tried English).

Located in Apetlon in Burgenland’s Seewinkel region, Residenz Velich features a sauna and an infrared cabin. It offers free WiFi and bike hire is available on site. Spotlessly clean, welcoming hosts, beautiful location, comfortable rooms. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the restaurant very much, as well. We would love to go back.

Vila Vita Pannonia is a 200-hectare nature resort set amidst the impressive landscape of Lake Neusiedl National Park in Burgenland. Very nice place with a huge territory and a lot of entertainment activities. Very good option for families with kids.

St. Martins Therme & Lodge on the banks of its own lake next to the Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel national park combines the exciting atmosphere of a safari lodge with the latest spa facilities. Clean, comfortable rooms, excellent food and amenities, great spa and pools, very attentive and organized staff. I also appreciated the nice birthday present. Every detail was taken care of.

Located in Neusiedl am See, 13 km from Mönchhof Village Museum and 14 km from Castle Halbturn, Seehaus SeeZeit - Am Hafen offers air conditioning. EVERYTHING! There was not a single thing that I felt missing. The check in was the smoothest ever - Romana met us the the property and was communicating with me all the time via whatsap. The place itself was a blast, probably the best vacation home we stayed at ever. I'm not kidding - there was everything you could ever wish for. The kitchen had all the equipment required for cooking. All types of wine glasses were available. All the cleaning products provided, as well as extra towels of all sizes and bath robes. The house was clean and tidy, super comfortable for our family. The terrasse was very nice (the foldable sun shield is a great idea). And the boat and the saps were just the perfect addition to make the vacation most enjoyable. The only thing worth mentioning is the cooling method - it's not the air-conditioning in the sense that the cooling is built on water tubes and not on a cool air. As a result, on the hottest days (we've been there on a really hot week) it was not enough to cool the upstairs even with the blinds closed. But on a normal weather it's working fine. Ah, and I should not forget the 3 complimentary bottles of wine (a very good one!) that waited for us upon arrival. I miss the place already and would love to be back.
