The breakfasts were simple continental style with excellent cappuccinos. The real jewel is their open air restaurant next door that’s open for lunch and dinner. The food was AMAZING - nonna’s meatballs with spaghetti is a must, as is the lemon ravioli, their version of ‘fish and chips’ was a real taste sensation as well.

Our room was on the ground floor which had a private terrace attached which was amazing to have outdoor space to sit out in the sun. It also had a sauna shower in the bathroom which was an added bonus. Breakfast was lovely, croissant with fresh fruit and delicious Italian coffee. The restaurant attached is also worth going for an evening meal. All the staff we came across were so lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The owners are very friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Breakfast was a choice of cold meats, cheese, cereals, fresh fruit and yogurt, croissants, biscuits with coffee, tea and juice. It is a beautiful place to stay, and you have so much private outdoor space to yourself. We made the most of the hot tub to enjoy the views. The breakfast was delicious and the recommendations from Martina from getting transfers, to villa cimbrone, to pizzerias made our stay so relaxing.The town is a short walk up some steps, and the place is so quiet as it is away from busy roads. We arrived on the wrong day (luckily in low season) but the owner was very accomidating and we ending up staying an extra day we loved it so much. We have been to Italy a few times and this is definitely the best breakfast we have ever had in Italy, North or South.

The shuttle service was adorable and a life saver for our cases to and from the bus stop. We used the shuttle service for dinners and it meant we were both relaxed and not sweating walking to dinner. For the price and the amount of space you get it is simply amazing, access to your private garden and hot tub, it is very nice to relax. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfy, Francesca was a fantastic host and helped us book a boat tour and hire electric bikes which was so handy and both great experiences.

The courtyard where we had breakfast was a little private oasis with gorgeous lemon and orange trees and we were gifted a hand picked lemon on departure! The apartment was spacious, but basic enough.
