Not many eateries near the lodgings.
Not many eateries near the lodgings. I heard that if you were visiting ND as your 50th state, the visitors bureau had special items for you.
Close proximity to Theodore Roosevelt NP. A nice park with beautiful scenery and lots of hiking trails.

7 or 8 years ago, they struck oil, so the Hawthorn Suites and surrounding stores, and a brand new shopping center, which is almost completed, etc. was built on open land. Therefore everything is new and nice.

Dickenson is a big-small town that has everything you need.
Dickenson is a big-small town that has everything you need. Many different restaurants to choose from, shopping for everyone in the family. There are recreation sites, museums that feature the history of the town and prehistoric history as well. Something for everyone when you come to Dickenson. Not far from the Badlands of North Dakota where you can spend the day and come back to relax in the evening.
Location next to I-94 but no noise disturbance - shops restaurants in neighborhood - town center short drive(across Overpass)- clean - nice pool- free parking - overall good experience - hotel lies behind some other buildings/hotels but was surprisingly OK - Applebee's - Mc Donalds - Country Kitchen - JD's BBQ 👍 half h drive to Medora & S Theodore Roosevelt NTL Park
The hotel was quiet. We were on 4th floor which may be why it was quiet. The building appeared new and it is located on west side of town. Must be newer part of town and not much in the area
It was clean and nothing was broken. Very friendly to our dog. Good location to freeway and quiet.
Front desk staff friendly and helpful.
Room was quiet, bed was comfortable. Heating/cooling system was noisy. Cleanliness was a major issue, as the hotel is VERY understaffed [and did not have a cordless stick vacuum that I could use on the stairs and hallway]. "Josh" was very responsive to our concerns, but the poor guy needs to be working a LOT less than he is.
The staff member Mary who greeted us when we arrived delivered superb service! The room was clean, quiet and exceeded our expectations for the area!
The hotel staff in the AM was different and there was no staff downstairs. Phone rang and rang. Mary was not present.
I visited here 20 years ago and remembered the pool area fondly.
I couldn't recall the name of the place so I scanned dozens of hotels in North Dakota until I found it.
It was so delightful to share the place with my kids.
Breakfast was great!
This hotel is new, amongst other new buildings, safe, easy to get to, very pleasant, reasonable. Breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs, thinly sliced bacon, breakfast potatoes, & a full range of other foods.
The room had more than we could ask for! We had a full size fridge, stove, hairdryer, and the hotel clerk gave service with a smile! That was my first clue that we were going to have the best stay ever!
Breakfast was good. Tammy was exceptional. Friendly, attentive, helpful. A wonderful ambassador for Marriott and for Dickinson. Give this lady a promotion and a pay raise. Management material.
The hotel was quiet, room was huge. Staff was friendly. They seemed to be an extended family working together to run the hotel. It was actually quite wholesome to witness.
Location was good, hotel was clean but bathroom faucet was not functioning properly and was leaking a lot, carpet was not clean, at least in the room I stayed.
The location was perfect, it was right near everything that I needed to be in Dickinson for and conveniently placed to easily be found from the interstate.
