We enjoyed the location even though you must take a car into Kennebunkport. The Goose Rocks Beach was directly across the street and even though we were not partaking in beach activities in October, the sunrises were spectacular from that spot! The neighborhood surrounding the property is well kept, quiet and beautiful for taking walks. I imagine the Inn would be hugely popular in the summer months!
The rooms were clean, bathrooms updated and beds were comfortable. Plenty of toiletries were provided.
The Inn feels much like home, with enough public gathering spots for your group. We enjoyed the fireplace in the morning and evenings. The restaurant, which is situated in the lobby, bustles with locals and visitors each night. We dined there twice during our stay and were well pleased with our meals each time. The haddock was the groups favorite meal of our trip to Maine and Massachusetts.
The staff at the Tides is exceptional in our opinion. From guest services, to the servers and bartenders, and maintenance staff…they were all friendly and helpful. This made our visit seem even more like home!
Featuring an on-site restaurant and a wrap-around porch with views of the water, this Kennebunkport hotel offers free WiFi to its guests. The shops and restaurants of Dock Square are just steps away.

The inn was absolutely charming and in perfect walking distance to everything. The staff at the inn surprised me with a bottle of wine and treats for my birthday! I received a phone call on the day of check in prior to my arrival too.

Breakfast was adequate. The place is so big that we couldn’t figure out how to get from our room to breakfast without going out side.

Kennebunkport is a quaint seaside village! There is so much character and history in the town - plenty to see and do. Alisson's Restaurant and Batson Brewing are two great places to dine and have a cocktail or two. H.B. Provisions is a quaint store that is a visit back in time. Everything is so easy to get to - most within walking distance. It is a "must see" place!

The food scene in Kennebunkport is amazing. The White Barn in indispensable - bring the budget and be prepared to get wauw'ed. Plenty of other great places, at half the price but still wonderful (Lost Fire (steak) and Rosella's (sushi). Yum.

Enjoyed the 4 mile loop road and nice walk on walkway overlooking the ocean. Had the best warm lobster roll at Mables. Hard to find I found out later in our trip. Take time to visit Ogunquit and Wells just a few miles away.

Can't wait to come back.
Can't wait to come back. Great restaurants and quality shops. Love the leather store (Whiskey leather).
Lots of excellent restaurants.
Not an inexpensive beach trip but preferred over OOB. More for adults, less for kids.

Charming place with lots of history and beautiful location.
Charming place with lots of history and beautiful location. the Kennebunkport Trolley was interesting to both see the sights and learn about the local celebrities. Best to visit on non-holidays and weekends, as parking in the town was difficult and getting a table at a restaurant not easy.

The hotel staff sets the dominant tone of your experience at the establishment and my experience was fun, friendly and fair sailing all the way. After having a few laughs at the front desk and checking in I put on my board shorts and flip flops and walked down to Gooch’s Beach to get a swim in before dinner. The walk down to the beach is beautiful just as a walk but toss in few nice conversations on the stroll to the sand and a few more convo-s on the beach and it adds up to a really great day! Gooch’s is a wonderful swimming beach and the water temperature on that day was FANTASTIC! After the swim, on my walk back to the Kingsport Inn I made a stop at the White Barn Inn Bar-Jeeeeeez is the food fantastic- seriously I just came back from two months in Europe and the food at The White Barn had my eyes rolling around in their sockets. I felt that even though I was underdressed everyone on staff treated me as if I weren’t-which just shows their incredible professionalism. The location is fantastic. The room was super clean and the rooms have a newer yachty kind of stateroom vibe. Thank you Kingsport Inn staff and breakfast lady and delicious waffle lady. It was a very fun time.
Lovely view from room to river, the toiletries were very good and the shower was excellent. The complimentary light breakfast was good and nice to sit out on the deck watching all the boats go by whilst having breakfast, very relaxing.
Based very centrally in Kennebunkport so easy to step out of the hotel and be right in the middle of everything. Very comfy bed and the pod coffee machine was great to have.
Small tea and coffee station a small distance from our room and ice.
My husband and I booked Sunday night concert tickets at Vinegar Hill in Arundle, Maine and needed a place to stay overnight. Bill, the proprietor of Harbor Inn, was very personable and accommodating. He helped carry our bags up the stairs for us as my husband is disabled. He also took the time to find out a little about us and tell us about his history with the Harbor Inn.
The Inn was walkable to downtown Kennebunkport , so it was extremely convenient. Loved the big porch.
Location is about 2 miles from downtown Kennebunkport, so it is quiet and relaxing. We stayed here in 2019 and loved it. Rooms have since been updated and are much brighter. Large TV. Grey flooring, no carpet. Small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Coffee is available in the office. Single story. No stairs. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom with rain shower. Rachel (office staff) was very friendly.
This was a quick overnight stay in Kennebunk on our Boston to Bar Harbor road trip. The King's Port Inn is located on the main road between Kennebunk and Kennebunkport, this makes it very easy to walk between to the two villages. It was close to shops and restaurants. It made a great base to do some quick site seeing and shopping before continuing on our trip.
Location is the best in Kennebunkport. The restaurant and bar are excellent. Value for money is not good. I paid $600 for a Saturday in their annex building. Second time they put me here. Very small room with just A Kurig that did not work. You are only paying for the location since you can go to the restaurant and bar without being a guest.
Carl and Eileen were the perfect host/hostess. The B&B is lovely, the gardens a dream to sit in and the breakfast not only delicious but so pretty. Kudos to Carl And a big shout out to Carl for getting my bag up the curved staircase to our suite. Staying there was the true highlight of Kennebunkport. Thank you
I dont know where to start...Sophie (who I had the most interaction with) was so incredibly kind and helped me navigate around Kennebunkport to all the hidden gems. Breakfast was prepared every morning and Robert was very nice as well. I loved every second of my stay and would 100% return.
We loved the room with the fireplace, historic touches of the property, and the delicious breakfast. The location was fantastic and very walkable to the middle of town. The hotel was wonderful and we will definitely be back!
The hotel and staff were amazing.
The hotel is very clean. The views are gorgeous.
We loved the bar. The bar staff were excellent and food were also very good.
breakfast was very nice and had a good selection.
Immediately greeted by front desk staff. Walking distance to downtown but away from the busyness. By the water and parking was close even if the hotel is separated into two buildings. Close to Portland.
Waldo Emerson Inn is a delightful period B&B located just outside Kennebunkport. Hana is so welcoming and provides delicious breakfasts. Recommend highly for anyone enjoying a New England Road Trip!
We loved this boutique hotel! the deco, the location, the size of the room, the amazing staff ( Nico who welcomed us was brilliant!), nice continental breakfast, my favourite toiletries brand even!!
Cabins were a fun change from a regular hotel. Very cozy and comfortable. The location, although about a 15 minute walk to the beach, was terrific. Very close to town.
Entire property including our room were immaculate. Room was spacious and comfortable. Location was perfect for exploring Kennebunkport and very quiet!
