The room was clean, the beds very comfy. Easy to check in and out. Continental breakfast was typical hotel fare, but it was hot and fresh. We had a quiet room, away from the main highway. The hotel, itself, is very accessible from the main highway, close to shopping and a variety of restaurants available. If we didn't carry on to relatives the next day, we would have stayed longer.

Absolutely lovely city.
Absolutely lovely city. By 8:00 a.m. the first morning there, after a UI Hawkeyes game, the whole of Iowa City and Coralville were clean and free from all evidence of the evenings festivities. Spotless!
Without a doubt, the cleanest city I have ever seen in 73 years of traveling the country.
You will quickly become a foodie here! Enjoy…

Plenty to do. But it was Soooo Hot. Didn't visit any parks. Walk a bit thru Coralville. Saw the Anqiue car museum. That was interesting. All the different. Awesome and models. There was a car made in Waterloo. Manufactured.must see if your a car person. Or not..ate ice cream at the Dairy queen by the river. Sat at some picnic tables .there was a bike trail on there.
Drove around alot. Heat advisory. Need AC .I did however. Pin alot of different areas of patlrks to visit later..
Next day traveling down Interstate 80. Williamsburg. Outlet. For couple hrs .reallynice staff. Fun ..

My main reason for being there was to visit relatives and deliver Christmas gifts. I ate my evening meal at Monica's because they have a separate gluten free menu, and the food is great. I had no trouble getting around the streets. It is close to Interstate 80. You can sleep in late because most businesses I was interested in visiting did not open till 10 AM.

Someone should have told us that the hotel was on a railroad track and train whistles would blast at us. Staff should have moved those loud kids and family to a ground floor room. However, the saving grace would be the nice breakfast they put out. And the coffee was fantastic.

Was expecting to pay cash upon on arrival like there page stated that was a lie then worker wasn't willing to try to help in any way so we could stayed tonight [Sunday] so we had to head back home after being unable to get another motel very disappointed plus being lied to not being allowed to check into the room until after 5 pm when the room we reserved day clerk unfriendly not helpful didn't care that we had to leave when we wanted another night
The room was clean and comfortable- and rather large to boot! The kitchen was very clean and seemed to have newer appliances. Beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was more updated than what I'm use to seeing on the road as often as we are. The full dinning table was awesome, as we didn't have to eat on the bed like animals! They did have a full breakfast, but we did not participate in it. Smelled good when we walked by though. It's near a lot of restaurants and a full mall, so plenty to do in the area.
I felt safe and welcomed. This was very important, for I am a female solo traveler. After a 15h drive this hotel popped up as a oasis for me and I was grateful when the service desk checked me in at late night without further questioning. The hotel smelled like dinner, the walls and doors were solid, no shady ppl etc. Thank you so much! And for the nice compliment of the female employee during check out, haven't heard that for a while. Breakfast was good, the cook was nice.
Went down to Iowa City for a few days. Just a different area.for getaway..walked into hotel. Very vibrant. Cleaned. Service was very prompt. Had very good manners .polite.
Got into room. so inviting. Clean .everything you would like. Fromm bed couch kitchen. Nice walk in shower. Fantastic place. Breakfast line up from waffles to oatmeal. Plenty to chose from. Coffee well stocked from different sugars and creamer. Thanks for making us feel at home. Plenty of parking too.
I can’t remember the young lady during my check in… I tried checking in early but I couldn’t. I was concerned about cleanness because I’ve had horrible experiences going to different hotels in different states . She allowed me to see one that wasn’t available and advise that I will like it. She was correct. She was able to answer all my questions. Breakfast was prefect! I love waffles and coffee l.
Very clean hotel with nice views and outdoor space. Staff was very professional and handled things quickly despite being very busy when we arrived and throughout our entire stay. This hotel is also located near some gas stations, grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and department stores. So, if you find yourself in need of something chances are it is not too far.
Great location in small community of shops, restaurants, hairdressers, coffee shops etc. We had to find a hotel at short notice to extend our original stay as our daughter had an accident. Ryan, Michelle and Née on the front desk were very kind and professional. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It is a lovely hotel with great staff.
The property is the crown jewel of lodging in the Iowa City area. It has incredible potential when staffed and maintained properly. The room was great, the interior of the property was immaculately clean, and the comfort of the beds was amazing.
The room was nicely appointed and had everything arranged and available for a short or long stay. Having 2 elevators next to each other, meant never having long to wait. While we did not use it, the exercise room was exceptional for a hotel.
Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfy TV would not get reception at all so we watched a blacks screen most of the time. Other then that very satisfied with my room.
Beds were comfortable. Was easy to find. The front desk girl was more than accommodating, helpful, and pleasant. Breakfast was good, pretty much like breakfast at most hotels these days.
