Good and complete breakfast, good room and good sea view near the port. There is no boat/ferry noise in the room. I hadn't booked the room with balcony because it cost more, but I had it. I think the room has been upgraded, absolutely welcome.

We were offered to another hotel, since Scandic Vestfjord Lofoten is closed for the summer. Therefore this review is not relevant.

There are many options for mountain walking in summer, less when snow covers the paths and countryside. Day Trips can be made to explore other scenic towns and villages by the local bus, along the island. Very scenic opportunities for photography with the changes in weather. Interesting short walks around Svolvaer and the harbour, boats, colourful buildings and rocky inlets scenery.

Svolvaer has the iconic architecture and "feel" of the Lofoten Islands but is large enough to have some choice in restaurants and easy access to most services. There are many museums and attractions nearby and just driving through the countryside yields spectacular views. Parking in town is limited and expensive, but the central parking lot is free after 7 PM.

Fantastic holiday in Svolvaer.
Fantastic holiday in Svolvaer. A photographers paradise from Fjord excursions to a road trip further a field.
My key highlights were the RIB Sea Eagles tour with Lofoten Explorers and the 5hr road trip with Lofoten Lights tour operators.
I will definitely be returning to see the Northern lights.

My son and I stayed here due to a change in our itinerary.
My son and I stayed here due to a change in our itinerary. We booked the location because it was close to the airport and it was reasonably priced. On the good side the location was on the water and walking distance to the center of town. The room offered a kitchenette with a table and two beds. One could access the deck overlooking the water. The people working the desk were very helpful, even booking a taxi for us to the airport. The bathroom is shared and the desk is closed at night. You have to walk to town for meals or stop by the nearby Circle K gas station for coffee and/or food if you don’t plan to cook. Rooms were upstairs, and there is no elevator.

Most convenient location for visiting the Lofoten islands.
Most convenient location for visiting the Lofoten islands. The pier for the exceedingly beautiful Trollfjord trip is walking distance from Svinoya.
The enterprising can hike the Djevelporten peak , which has steps for about 50% distance.

Svolvaer is a great pictures town with a bery nice water front.
The restaurants and coffee shops are great and there a lot of activities all around.
We used it as a base camp as we drove all around the amazing Lofoten islands for six days.
I really like how big the room is. I booked for 3 guests, but my room can actually fit for 4 adults and 2 children. The room has its own underroof area and equipped with everything from microwave to kettle, kitchen ware. The location is great. Although it is located in center of Svolvær and there are many restaurants around the hotel, but the hotel is so quiet and private. Breakfast is very good and variety, they serve smoked Salmon and fresh baked waffle as well. My Mom and Dad said this is the best hotel for 15 days trip in Scandinavia.
We stayed at the sister hotel Scandic Svolvear as this one was closed for the season.
Our room was delightful, overlooking the water and fishing huts across the water. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed with everything we needed. The balcony was a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet.
The breakfast here was fabulous, and a great opportunity to try local fish and produce.
It was a HOME - this was better than any hotel or airbnb I’ve ever stayed. It was so cozy and comfortable and I loved the decor. It truly encapsulated the Nordic concept of Hygge. Facilities-wise, there were all the kitchen utensils, toiletries and laundry to make the entire stay such a pleasant experience. Staying here was half my holiday in Svolvær.
Location was lovely, on the Marina- the cabin was well set out and comfortable and we could sit out in the sun. We were really pleased we had chosen this place to stay and explore the area around Svolvær- this area was a highlight of our trip - we were also lucky to see Orca in the bay on a coastal walk
Got the keys without contact and with a key box. This is super convenient because we didn't always know when we would arrive at a certain location while exploring and driving around with our car. Also could do our laundry here and the laundry machine was efficient and quiet. Nice stay in Svolvær!
Relatively affordable for Norway/Lofoten. Close to the center. Parking is free, and there are spots available if you don't arrive too late. The room has coffee/tea with a water heater and a huge fridge/freezer. Contactless check-in and -out. The breakfast was acceptable.
The cabin was great! It was a great size and very comfortable. It was great to have a room to spread out more than a traditional hotel room. We will stay here when we come back in the summer. We had a great dinner at the restaurant at the property.
lovely little studio apartment located by Svolværgeita. It had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. Great place to be based for exploring the Lofoten Islands. Friendly and helpful hosts. Would definitely stay again.
The breakfast was exceptional, lots of choices for any diet or dietary restrictions.
The room was barebones and simple with simple decor but pillows, beds and bedding were very comfortable.
The hotel is located close to the Hurtigruten terminal. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast area was spacious and the food options excellent.
The room was really comfortable.
The hotel is easy to find. The room was large and clean, as was the bathroom. Free parking out back and on a side street. Close enough to walk to the "downtown" area with restaurants.
