This was a truly magical trip! Everything exceeded our expectations. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, who are such a sweet and thoughtful family. We immediately felt at home. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning, with beautiful lakes, deep forests, and peaceful rivers that invite you to explore, hike and relax. Nature lovers will be in heaven here. The cabin we stayed in was pure paradise. Exactly what we dreamed of for a perfect cabin getaway. It’s entirely crafted from wood, beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail, and equipped with all the amenities one could need. Every corner felt cozy and inviting. We liked pretty much everything - the hotel is stylish and modern, we had a room with sea view. It was a midnight sun season, but it was possible to make the room absolutely dark when needed. Shower was also nice. Breakfast was diverse and tasty. There is a nice pub with relatively cheap food (for Norwegian standards) in the building right next to the hotel. There are also supermarkets and a museum in 1 minute walking distance. The hotel has parking with EV chargers. Just amazing!

Fantastic place with lots of history. Stayed in 300 year old room. Very good food in restaurant. Klippfisk was absolutely superb. Breakfast was very good with many choices hot and cold. Highly recommend to stay at this place if you travel the Atlanterhavsroad.

The breakfasts were fabulous with so many options. The location of the Hotel was perfect and very convenient to many site-seeing spots I wanted to visit. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The spa was amazing too.

My husband and I found the Walaker (and the village of Solvorn) to be a really special place. We had perfect weather for swimming at the beach, hiking up Molden for fjord views, and enjoying a glass of champagne in the hotel garden. Staff and food were excellent. The historic room had tons of charm. We only stayed one night but I could see spending a week to enjoy daily hikes, afternoon swims, and relaxing with a good book -- it's such a lovely, restful place!
