The breakfast was delicious! Besides a full breakfast, you can also get yogurt and fruit. The B & B is close to the lake and the town center. As someone who doesn’t have a car, it was easy to get around

Very clean room, comfy bed, perfect facilities and Mr Mark is a bonus as he allow me to get in room early. Definitely come back.
In my opinion, Llanberis is an amazing place to stay.
In my opinion, Llanberis is an amazing place to stay. The town has all you can need without being a snobby destination.
It's the perfect gateway for walking snowdon or taking the tram to the top.
I'm afraid I can't comment on local restaurants as I've only ever used the chip shop, but that is superb so I would assume other places are just as good.
Would make an amazing stop off for those wanting to explore more of the beautiful national park.

If you like nature and walking, this is the place for you.
If you like nature and walking, this is the place for you. Stunning and we particularly liked the walks around the Llanberis lake and up to the waterfall. There are some shops in the village but it is not that well equipped for proper food shopping. However, we arranged a food delivery from Asda which arrived promptly.

Llanberis is ideally located for the easiest walk or train...
Llanberis is ideally located for the easiest walk or train up Snowdon, our main reason to stay here. Many other more difficult walking options are a short car or bus journey away, be warned the popular car parks fill up very early in the day and some like Pen-Y-Pas must be prebooked and are very expensive. A few miles further away there are an almost infinite list of other walking routes that will be much less crowded. Be warned that none of the routes up Snowdon are easy, you should be fit and prepared for cold wet and foggy weather, any time of the year. Llanberis has a few shops, pubs, cafes and restauraunts although when we stayed in late March many were closed, I guess the season starts after Easter.

Llanberis is the ideal location to start your trip up to Llanberis path to Snowdon. We were also able to walk to the Slate Museum & Dolbadarn Castle. If you want to get the train to the top of Snowdon, the station is located in a visible easy to reach location, with a car park about 1 minute walk away. Also, just off the high street we found a beautiful waterfall named Rhaeadr.

LLanberis is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay there.
LLanberis is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay there. If you're there to see the sights, make sure you're traveling all around Snowdonia! In particular, some of the northern region has amazing landmarks, such as Corfe Castle.
There's a bus service that can transport you around the area - we stayed in the YHA in Pen Y Pass, and caught the bus from there to the nearest cheap car park in the morning to save some money.
This place is amazing. Very clean, comfortable and spacious for a family of 4 plus. Welcome pack was a lovely addition. Such a lovely location for visiting Snowdonia. Lots of restaurants and takeaways close by in the small town of Llanberis.
Lovely steam train ride around Padern lake and the Mountain railway is a short stroll away. The slate museum is also a short stroll away. 20 minutes by car to Caernarvon Castle or Zip World.
Location was excellent. Short walk to Lake Padarn and to the Llanberis path up Snowdon and the railway. A couple of lovely restaurants and cafes within 5-minute walk and a Spar supermarket right opposite. Bar on site was well stocked and busy with large outdoor seating area. Free parking was a plus too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and toilet paper provided. Wifi free but best downstairs in bar area.
Location is excellent and the best place to stay if you want to climb Snowdon. The breakfast is the best I've ever had in a hotel, freshly cooked every day. The owners (and the cat) are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much to ask! They are so accommodating. Rooms very clean and spacious the bed is huge!!! Over all not a single thing to complain about. 100% would recommend! Alice and Stephen
Amazingly located at the doorstep of Snowdonia, this hotel have everything you need, a great bar and a restaurant with a good and tasty selection of food.. best burgers on town are served here!… when this little city seems to be sleeping at 8 pm you still have the bar open and staff willing you to serve you a tasty plate of food. Staff was nice and caring.
The breakfast and the atmosphere were brilliant. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Really can’t recommend highly enough if you are looking for a few days in the heart of Snowdonia, I managed to walk out of the hotel and into the mountains in about 10m and was out all day, arriving back through the quaint little town of Llanberis
Great location for exploring Snowdonia and the surrounding area. Close to amenities in Llanberis. Short walk to Snowdon Mountain Railway and the start of the Llanberis Path, also less well-known walks such as Mount Eilio. Key in coded box for easy access, free fast WiFi, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds.
The look is deceiving. Looks a little like a large house. It's very homely. The staff are very welcoming and informative. The breakfast is amazing as is the homemade pizza. We would definitely book this hotel again for our next walk up Snowdon or any North Wales visit. Cannot praise the place high enough.
The room was basic but that was all we needed after walking up Snowdon. There is a bistro, sports bar and pub attached to the hotel with live music so plenty to do after the walk. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made ordering breakfast for the next day nice and simple.
I didn't manage to get to Wales this time so my review covers previous stays. I love the place! Really friendly family, really clean and cozy room, brilliant breakfast. Can't fault the place at all and I've stayed in the more expensive places in llanberis, they don't come close for me!
Our trip to Llanberis was made so much better with our stay at Alpine lodge. The staff were so friendly and catered to all our needs. It was so clean and the shower was amazing after walking up Snowdon! There was a lot of options at breakfast too which was lovely.
We had our hotel cancelled last minute, we managed to get a room here the morning of. The owners were lovely, the rooms were clean and the communial areas looked very inviting although we didn't have time to make use of them. We'll definalty be coming back
Central to town. Easy to find. Friendly, hospitable hosts. Impressive characterful property with plenty of safe, on-site parking. Lovely breakfast. Walking distance to several local hotels for dinner, and Mt Snowden train office.
In the heart of Llanberis, a cozy place to stay and explore Snowdonia with family and dogs. Has everything you need and Becky was a super host. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
Location brilliant. At foot of Snowdon.. Really nice room and comfortable bed! Breakfast in the morning was very good. Staff really helpful and friendly. Definitely would stay again
Perfect location if you are wanting to climb Snowdon. There are also beautiful walks you can do from the Hotel around the lake.
The food was beautiful and the staff we great.
Friendly staff and great location. It's still COVID and a little early in the season so everything wasn't fully open but that's not on the hotel. Would definitely return.
This property was incredibly clean and comfortable. It was the best stay we have had somewhere in a long time. The home was within walking distance to many great walks!
Ideal for climbing snowdonia. The position of the hotel was exactly what my friends and I needed after climbing to the summit and not having to drive to a hotel.
