There is a variety of slopes to enjoy snowboarding and the proximity of other resorts gives a lot of options. Due to it were not much fresh snow during the stay, a backcountry side is yet to be discovered in future.

The buses to get to other ski fields and around Happo One...
The buses to get to other ski fields and around Happo One are somewhat confusing but it seems that there are more buses than on the timetables so that is a bonus. Many lifts start at 8am, so ideally one would have breakfast at 6:30 so one could get an early bus, but may be a challenge finding accommodation that does this.

It’s a ski and snow lover paradise. A small town with not so much city vibe, but best for snow or ski experience. It’s the idyllic charm that stands out for me. Everything u need for snow and ski experience is available there, for rent or to buy.

Hakuba is great and very welcoming.
Hakuba is great and very welcoming. The people and food are amazing. The skiing was great given the snow levels were lower than normal. The only thing to keep in mind is the bus service, while convenient can get crowded and does not run as much as it maybe should. A car would definitely be a great asset to have.Gleason

He let us know where all the Snow resorts were located and always there to help us. Rooms were cleaned regularly and always warm even in the Winter cold. The accommodation is also well located (6 minute drive to Happo One and 9 minute drive to Goryu & 47). Echoland is also a walkable distance and a very quick drive. There is also a very nice private indoor and outdoor onsen on the property to enjoy after a long day of snowboarding.

Hotel Soyokaze is located just off Main St in Echoland and so close to the ski hire, ski bus stops and the convenience store. Takao would also make dinner bookings for us-we really enjoyed Isakaya Hie. Excellent washing and drying facilities available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hakuba, but our hosts made it such a memorable holiday.

The apartment is so near to Iwatake ski resort gondola station (which is possibly the main attraction of Hakuba). The owners Daniel and Ayako were so helpful and supportive. I will visit this place again if I ever come to Hakuba and I recommend everyone to stay here and experience the please stay and great hospitality of the owners.AvijitJapan

They are very well set up for snow sports, with a separate entrance and a place to store all your gear. Very close to all the restaurants in Echoland, but was quiet at night. The perfect blend! I loved it and stayed for 10 nights with plans to return next year, Very reasonably priced and very central. You could very easily walk to Happo One.
