Big hotel room with very comfortable beds. We love the automatic Japanese toilet that opens when you enter the bathroom and the classical music. There is also a big bath tub ideal to for a hot bath after a long day of walking. The water pressure is good in the shower. There is also a kitchen counter, microwave oven, coffee pod machine ,mini ref. Bathroom amenities are very good . The hotel manager and staff speak very good English and are very attentive to our needs. They constantly communicate with us thru wats app. The hotel is about 10 minute walk to Kyoto - Kawaramachi train station, and is about 15-20 minutes to the Gion district.
Hotel 88 Shinsaibashi is an 8-minute walk from OCAT (Osaka City Air Terminal) and a 10-minute walk from Namba Station. Glico Man Sign is a 4-minute walk from the property.

First day of a road trip in Okinawa: It took approximately 1.5 hours to get from the airport to the hotel. After a 10-minute drive up the mountain, the hotel is nestled deep within a small village. A peaceful and clean white room with well-designed facilities relieved the day’s tiredness. Location is convenient but not in the heart of things. Which is actually nice cause Kyoto can get overrun. This also makes it peaceful. Which it is. The staff is delightful, the breakfast Japanese or western is delicious. The facility is new, well designed, immaculate, and just super boutique. Rooms are large. Will stay here when I come back. Rent a bike from the nearby shop. Total game changer.
