Day one I was supposed to be in a handicap room. I am in a wheelchair. It was confirmed in writing. When we arrived they did not have a handicapped room available. Put me in a standard room. Wheelchair had to be maneuvered thru bath door. No handicap bars. Not able to shower. Needed help on and off the toilet. This was terrible. The following day the ‘real’ manager Bobbi came to work and straighten it out and moved me. Was disappointed that Red Lion felt it was acceptable to charge me full price for this room

I absolutely love stay at the LaQuinta in Wenatchee WA. My son plays baseball for the Wenatchee Valley College and I am in Wenatchee every week in the Fall and Spring. I used to stay when it was the former hotel and then into the transition to LaQuinta. The changes were minimal. The staff at the front desk, cleaning crew and breakfast counter couldn't be nicer and more helpful. I will always stay at LaQuinta while visiting beautiful Wenatchee.

Wenatchee is a secret little getaway that so many people overlook. If you like nature, I suggest going to the Ohme park to walk around and enjoy peace.
There's tons of great food there, as well. Just overall a nice quiet little down to get away to.

We lived in Wenatchee and were very disappointed by the amount of construction affecting traffic flow. The volume of traffic is horrendous. Getting out pf the hotel parking lot is ridiculous. Wenatchee has successfully become modern day nightmare for tourists. They have done an excellent job of attracting far too many people and not upgrading the infrastructure to compensate.

We were quite content with this hotel.
We were quite content with this hotel. There is free parking, breakfast, comfortable bed, good sized room and staff was very personable. The location was a plus and we got a good rate. Be prepared though; there is no operating elevator. We were there during a snowstorm and the parking lot was icy.

We came primarily to enjoy activities at Leavenworth, but it was very nice to be able to do things in Wenatchee. It was less crowded, offered more restaurants and hotels, and was generally very enjoyable.
Bonus points for the Wok About Mongolian Grills. It was excellent and was able to accommodate my wife's celiac disease easily (95% of everything was gluten free with rice noodles available). Will go there again, definitely.

It's gorgeous country!
It's gorgeous country! We have traveled there all seasons, and love it all. Easy access to so many activities. We use it to see family and to visit Leavenworth. There is literally something for everyone-couples, young families. Just a great place-with plenty of hotel/motel options to fit every budget. We always eat at the Red Robin which is just yummy-lots of menu options. Also do a family pizza night at Godfather's. We reserve their party room, and love the pizza/salad bar buffet. Nice to have the party room off the main part of the restaurant-it can get loud with the video games. Getting around the city is so easy-love the historic section of town. We just love it!

Wenatchee hotels were booked for the weekend but the Downtown Inn worked hard to try to get us another night at their hotel as we'd requested. While they were unsuccessful we really appreciated the effort. Our room was clean and perfectly comfortable. The TV worked and the pool was nice to relax in and cool off. It was nice to have an iron and hair dryer too.
Sometimes it’s all about the staff. They have a superb front of house that really seems to care. From the little freebies to the friendly check in to the solid breakfast spread. The inn is a little tired in places but it’s well kept up and is just a solid little place. Easy walk over the old bridge right in front of the hotel to get downtown.
Coast Wenatchee Hotel is located in an area of fun shopping and welcoming restaurants. It was an interesting area to walk in and stretch my legs after a 4 hour drive. The area felt safe. The bed was comfortable and great to come home to after a long day of work. I wish I has time to use the pool and hot tub, it looked inviting.
This is a new facility which has good potential. It is suffering from several "little" issues which they should be able to work out with experience. It is fresh and clean, easy to find and get to, easy access to downtown Wenatchee, East Wenatchee and the main roads/highway in and out of Wenatchee. Great shower.
Continental breakfast was good. Room was very clean and comfortable. Location was perfect and met our expectations. Exercise room was clean and well stocked with various equipment. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Felt safe in the area we were located and with the security of the hotel.
We liked the cleanliness of the hotel overall. Nice new facilities, hot tub, heated pool (though small), very soft sheets, comfy bed, modern shower, good lighting. Location wasn't very central but was ok if you had a car. Friendly staff.
very friendly I had canceled flight from SeaTac to Wenatchee, came over from the bus. it was very nice that they have a shuttle to the hotel. much easier.
