Beautiful view, one of the best I’ve ever seen. The sound of the waves was the best.

We were only there two evenings, but were unhappy with both restaurants that we chose for dinner. They were identified as the best or better ones in town. However, we did not enjoy it. We really would’ve enjoyed some good seafood. Decision to stay there was only to see high Ridge in the Olympics and it was fantastic.

Although we were only there for 1 night as we moved on to Vancouver Island the following day, Port Angeles seemed to have the quaintness of a small town, but with plenty of facilities. Obviously the proximity to Olympic NP & ferry services are the main plusses.

Port Angeles is centrally located to all the natural areas...
Port Angeles is centrally located to all the natural areas you would like to visit. Many places are closed at the beginning of the week. Cruise ship comes in and that makes restaurants really busy at dinner time. Plan ahead if you want to eat somewhere nice. Kokopelli Grill was nice and food was good but getting a seat took awhile. Some people couldn’t be seated. Try to get the shuttle that goes to Hurricane Ridge then you can go anytime. If you are a car, you’ll have to get up there early.

Stayed in Port Angeles because it was so close to Hurricane Ridge in the national Park. Had dinner at Joshua's restaurant next to the Super 8. The pictures hanging on the walls of the restaurant are good enough to be in an art gallery--very impressed!

I'm weird because I love clouds and rain, and I hate heat. P.A.has my ideal climate.
The town is just the right mix of city and suburbs. The houses and neighborhoods are all so cute and wonderful. I am seriously considering moving there.
Best restaurant: New Day Eatery
Best american breakfast: Chestnut Cottage
Great location to get to Hurrican Ridge in the morning and have plenty of time left in the day to continue on. The bed was really comfortable, nice linens. Nice towels also. Seemed to have the upscale accoutrements if a Wyndham, just placed in the outdated, old motor hotel building of a Super 8, which is as advertised basically so no complaints. Nice to have refrigerator in room since we had food of our own. Port Angeles is not a great dining town so we rested from our travels in the room and had everything we needed.
This was a fantastic little adventure just near to Port Angeles and the various sights that my wife and I wanted to see. Loved how friendly and accommodating the staff was and how comfortable the tent was despite the weather. We had adequate blankets and cushions and things to be comfortable, even if the layout was simple and somewhat boho-inspired from a look perspective. Loved the camping experience. This might've spoiled us a bit too much and it may be hard to go back to a regular tent now... ha!
The room was large enough for myself and my family without any of us feeling like we were stepping on each other. The bathroom was a really good size and very spacious with plenty of towels. Though we didn’t need to use it the hotel is very accessible for those who need it with ramps pretty much everywhere. The gentleman on the desk on Tuesday morning was also very helpful as I wanted to double check if there was unpaid parking near the pier and he was happy to give me directions.
Nice room with a small living room attached. Roomy bathroom. Very good continental breakfast (yogurt, muffins, oatmeal, fresh fruit, juice, bagels and cream cheese...) Small office with computer and printer available for guests behind breakfast area. Great spot for walking over to the wharf and downtown where there are lots of restaurants, shops, and sculptures in addition to the ocean view. Have stayed here before and plan to again on our next trip to Port Angeles.
I have stayed here for work purposes once a year for many years. I requested a main floor w/water side. I was really amazed at how beautiful and upgraded my room was! It was amazingly nice and comfortable. I will share with others what a great place to stay. I will also be back hopefully soon for fun with family that can be centered around your wonderful hotel. Thank you so much.
Was only room available in Port Angeles. While room was fairly clean, SERIOUS need of updates and repairs etc. Cracks in ceiling (possibly some poorly repaired leaks), painted over grafitti in bath room, dresser drawer broken, 'squishy' carpet, etc.. Old bed spread with no blankets available in room. Noisy outside and not a great area of Port Angeles it appeared.
The person who checked us in didn't seem trust worthy, he tried to charge us an additional person charge, when I had disclosed when I made the reservation the number of guests we would have. When I refused, he shrugged and said, I don't care, it isn't my money. The servers in the breakfast area were great, very friendly and attentive.
Looked on Tripadvisor for the best Travelers ranking in Port Angeles and this is what came up. Extremely disappointed….Save your money and book a cheaper hotel you will get the same facility for a lot less. What a rip-off!
Front staff was very delightful on check-in and that was the best part of Quality Inn Uptown.
We were celebrating our 48th anniversary and came over for the Port Angeles Crab Festival. The location was outstanding, just a couple blocks from the event. Rooms were clean an cozy. Had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again! The person at the the front desk was friendly and welcoming!
Super clean and comfy! Everything inside the apartments is new and clean. For reference, even the skirting was clean!
The heating temperature was perfect and easy to regulate. I even forgot a scarf and they kept it safe for me.
From the outside it looks like a motel, but inside its a starred hotel :)
Microwave & minifridge in room. It’s in good proximity to Hurricane Ridge hikes - but then, all Port Angeles hotels are. Safeway, Taco Time, Wendy’s are nearby plus more moderate restaurants (the Safeway deli case has the best grab-and go sandwiches though).
It was a great stay. My grandson kept saying this should be a five-star rating. He's 9. Lol. The staff was very friendly and went over and above to please! I will always stay with your hotel when visiting Port Angeles! ♥️
Excellent location, very clean, and comfortable. A great place to stay as a base camp to explore Olympic National Park, while being in short driving distance to good restaurants and shops and stores in Port Angeles.
Room was very clean and comfortable. There was a great sense of hospitality and generosity from our host which has not been our experience elsewhere - in far more expensive hotels.
This is a great place for location in Port Angeles. The owner was lovely. Everything was simple, clean, and comfortable with an affordable price. Would stay again!
