The property is in a great location about halfway between Leavenworth and Cashmere. The staff were incredibly accommodating for an after-hours check in which was ultimately the most impressive part of the stay. Reasonable rates for what you get.

I liked the beauty of the landscape and the friendliness of the locals. The store in Plain was awesome and they had everything! I highly recommend the small bottles of moonshine, especially the orange creamsicle!
Leavenworth itself was too commercialized, too many people and tourists. In my opinion, it is overrated. I'd rather enjoy the surrounding area, it is so peaceful along the river and walking bridge that's outside the town of Plain.

We rode Amtrak from Seattle which required a two-night stay. We visited during an off-season but on a weekend. Many people visit on the weekends. The weather was warmer during our visit which was nice. We loved the mountain views and air. The shops were interesting. We enjoyed the visit but don't expect to return.

Leavenworth is the best little getaway to leave your normal life and get a taste of Germany and alpine life! Eat the Bratwurst, drink the beer, cruise through the shops and be a tourist in your own backyard!

We loved our stay.
We loved our stay. However, I'd recommend staying for 2 nights. Check out things happening during your visit. They do have fun events you might not want to miss! We enjoyed Patterson Cellars! We had flights of wine and live music! The Italian restaurant was amazing!!! (I can't remember the name)

Love how quiet Leavenworth is midweek, especially in the Winter. Check out the Reindeer Farm and a sleigh ride. Floating the river and then around blackbird island is a favorite during the summer, but pack your patience; parking is horrible. Check out the Enchantments, they are just that!

The town itself is beautiful and so are the mountains.
The town itself is beautiful and so are the mountains. But the town is only a 1-2 day town. It gets crowded at night even on weekdays. The parking is probably the worst part we bought sleds for $65 and only used them once. Would just advise going to one of the tubing places and renting. The snow turns to mud quick!! If you like German food you will definitely love the food. Cute shops with decent prices. The ginger bead house had amazing sugar cookies.
Location was nice and in the heart of downtown Leavenworth. Room was decorated in a cute way. Dog-friendly rooms available. Our room had direct access to a outside patio and the street. Very close to all of the local businesses and restaurants. Extremely walkable area. Staff was friendly and accommodating through chat function. Assigned parking was convenient. The room in general seemed like it was cleaned well despite being old.
Location was amazing , close to all the fun stuff but off the main street so nice and quiet at night . Close to river and hiking trails too. Room was clean and comfortable ,and parking was very near our room (included ). All the staff we met were pleasant and you got the feeling this was a family run hotel , not a chain . Will definately stay here on our next Leavenworth visit .
I liked the property overall, nice grounds, ample parking, room, dining area, outside seating area, decor, breakfast, all were nice, and clean and pleasant. I especially liked all the fun mountain paintings around the hotel with the blue elk added in clever. And some of the retro art was a nice touch. The breakfast was good and the rooms, though smallish were tastefully done.
We could hear the local hour/half-hour bells toll, which was quite beautiful and soothing. They did not toll past a certain hour, so that was good. The room was very clean ... in fact, it smelled quite strongly of bleach the first couple of days. The hotel is in town, a block from the main drag, and VERY close to Starbucks ... which was very convenient.
Not the most fancy of the hotels offered, but the location is money! Free parking and we were able to walk to everything! 5 mins on foot and you’re in the heart of Leavenworth activities shops and restaurants. Staff were all super friendly and our room was clean. Free breakfast offered. Pool was a great bonus it’s heated and inside a dome so was toasty!
My husband and I have stayed here twice, and our stay has been nothing short of exceptional both times! The breakfast is one of the best I’ve seen at any hotel, compete with daily alp horn serenades. The view is spectacular, and all facilities are well taken care of and beautiful. Thank you, Enzian!
My family and I went for an overnight stay in Leavenworth to get away. The hotel not fancy but was comfortable also on the main road of all the attraction so we were able to walk most places! John was our front desk check in he was bubbly and helpful, our stay was relaxing and fun.
The staff was excellent and check in was quick. The room was very clean and the mattress was very comfortable. I haven’t slept that well in months. The Obertal Inn is a great place to stay while in Leavenworth. Close to everything in town. 10/10
The river scene is great. I can spent all day in the balcony. The room is not big but clean, and has all the equipment you need include microware oven and fridge.
The location is good as well. 10 min walk from hotel to downtown.
When we go to Leavenworth we only stay at the Bavarian Lodge. Wonderful people. Central location and cleanliness is wonderful. Our family is begging us to take them. My German son in law would love it. We go each year.
Always our favorite place to stay in Leavenworth.. love the Bavaria style rooms, decor and the yummy Fruhstuck (breakfast). Walking distance to everything in town and the park!
I liked how clean the whole hotel is. Also how nice and friendly all the staff are. And also how convenient the location of the Hampton hotel is for downtown Leavenworth.
