Love this place. The decor is a combo of industrial antique. There are multiple sitting areas and a game room/library. Extremely clean throughout. The spa area is wonderful including a sauna that seats 4 comfortably. Breakfast is excellent and dinner and bar offer good options. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Quaint and lovely. We typically stay at big chains. This was a wonderful change for us. Breakfast was great. The place was full due to the eclipse, so we met so many friendly people in the various public areas. There were couples who were repeat guests, so we knew we were lucky to get a great room.

We stayed here on our way to St Johnsbury for the totality of the eclipse. The room was small but very nice. Breakfast was great and started early, which was important for us. We really appreciated the fact that we could walk on a sidewalk all the way to Quechee Gorge and then on to the Dewey Pond Trail.

Woodstock is a cute little town, and I fell in love instantly. They are very dog friendly which to me was a huge plus. Mont Vert Cafe was the place to be, and was super crowded but very (as they say on their open/closed sign) awesome!!
I went in for a bottle of water, and came out with that and a chocolate chip brownie, which was to die for! Will definitely visit again.
Sadly, I didn't have a lot of time to explore, because I had to get on the road to get home, but I did make it a point to visit The Yankee Bookshop, which is a must see. It hade a "book" theme, meaning they sold novelties such as bookmarks that looked like an old library "due date" card. Younger gens may not get this, but us older folks will love it. :) In summary, it was a lot of fun to walk through.

Woodstock Inn has a lovely ambiance, great staff and the rooms are beautiful. You must make reservations for the hotel restaurants before you get there, even thought you cannot dine there if you are not staying at the Inn. I would ask if there is a wedding going on because the music is loud and impossible to get away from. It only went on until 10:00pm on Saturday but downtown closes at 6:00pm and there was no way to get away from the very loud music.

What I've always heard about Woodstock VT turned out to be true. It really is an outstandingly charming village. Picture perfect architecture, super dog-friendly, original art and craft shops and soothing, green commons amongst the hilly green backdrop of VT, kept me intoxicated for three days. I will return with my own art supplies after feeling inspired by other creatives, for a week of blissful enchantment. The most refreshing thing about Woodstock (and most of VT) was the lack of big box commercialism. One must also keep in mind that Woodstock is heavily funded by old wealth, which can afford to pay for upkeep of charm.

Woodstock has a lovely green with stately homes and buildings around it, plus shops and a covered bridge. Crowded during foliage season so visit another time to enjoy it. Mondays and Tuesdays most restaurants are closed. Try nearby Queeche for meals those days. Be sure to visit the Billings Farm and Museum. Take a tour of the Mansion and learn the history of the area.

Woodstock is a regular stop for us.
Woodstock is a regular stop for us. Beautiful town, very walkable but beware of lack of restaurants and restaurant closings. Many are closed two to three days a week and many close early. Plan uour meals! Otherwise always something happening in town. Billings farm and museum is great. VINS nature center, hiking Mt. Tom and Mt. Peg, skiing Saskadena Six and wandering through the boutiques and art galleries, great fun.
We had a wonderful stay in Woodstock with Cynthia and John. They have a gorgeous home with plenty of windows offering wonderful views of the countryside, only a short drive from the heart of Woodstock. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and sharing the bathroom with the other tenants was totally doable. A simple breakfast was served every morning which was an easy, nice way to start the day. If you're looking for cozy, affordable accommodation in one of America's prettiest towns, this is the place.
Very convenient yet peaceful location. Rooms were furnished and equipped to an exceptionally high standard which reflected excellent taste and vision for traditional style. An absolute gem. Breakfasts were imaginative, ample and superior to expected hotel fare. The innkeepers were helpful and proactive in satisfying guests’ needs. Jackson House sets the standard to which other establishments should strive to attain
Lovingly curated blend of modern comfort and conveniences with antique pieces in historic home. An artistic flair! Outstanding gourmet breakfasts and afternoon treats. Private grounds with seating along the river.
Though a short drive to downtown Woodstock, the personal touches and comfort of this B&B make this the perfect place to relax away from the crowds yet convenient to activities.
Old Victorian Inn within walking distance to shops and sites of Woodstock, Vermont. White cloths and napkins on tables made the dining rooms feel grand. Breakfast presentation was nice. If you like old Victorian style you will enjoy this Inn. Close drive to Marsh, Billings, Rockefeller Museum - free film in Visitors Center is an excellent history of area.
Heather and her team are just extremely lovely and helpful!
Her Hotel is full of beautiful historical items. Delightful!
The breakfast was awesome! As was the dinner.
Every Tuesday seems to be in summer a garden Jazz concert in their wonderful garden. We enjoyed our stay very much!
The folks at Sleep Woodstock Motel were friendly and communicative. The amenities (fridge with freezer, microwave, and coffeemaker with coffee and creamer) were incredibly helpful because we were traveling with kids. Location is great, and room was super clean!
Charming historic home on the outskirts of Woodstock. Maintained to the highest of professional standards with a keen eye for details and ensuring that everything is in its place. A great deal of effort and pride has gone into the property.
The hotel overlooks the river so our room had a fantastic view. There was a really useful information brochure in the room with details of restaurants opening hours etc. Short walk into the centre of town. Great location.
Located in the woods, 5 minutes drive from Woodstock. Everything about this place was great. Cynthia was very nice. the rooms are very clean and look great. we enjoyed it very much.
Also, great value for the price
The inn is a passion project and labor of love. Dana was a gracious host and generous with her time. She is so knowledgeable and engaged with Woodstock and beyond. Her insights added immensely to my visit.
The location of the hotel was beautiful. The facilities and rooms were also great. We ate in the restaurant on our second night and the food was lovely and staff both friendly and helpful.
The views are endless and every detail is thought of. From the foreplace to the blankets to the bikes, this Inn has everything you need for a wonderful stay!
