Loved the breakfast, staff, and the game room downstairs. We booked this as a last minute family getaway to go snowboard, and it was an excellent option. Low frills, small, but welcoming and perfect to sleep at before hitting the slopes.

George was extremely kind and helpful to us. He allowed us in a little early since we had arrived in town early. He was attentive and even gave us a free upgrade as was available. I would definitely return here!

It felt like home. The host Nancy was absolutely the best. The house is beautiful and well kept. I enjoyed my stay.
We love the area. There are so many places to eat at, visit and always nice people. Our favorite dining locations are TC's, Dover Bar and Grill (The Tacos are AMAZING!) and the new Red Door has great drinks!

Call ahead and ensure they have your reservation and a clean room waiting for you. Do not expect to get a free breakfast. yes, they have one, but they open Bfast late, around 8am and all the guests show up at once to get to the MT by 9am. They take orders for breakfast rather than offer a buffet, so it can take half an hour just to get the order in, and breakfast will come around 15 minutes later. There is no way to get to breakfast when it opens, get an order into the kitchen, get your food and eat it, and get to the mt by 9 am.

The food was very good at the restaurants.
The food was very good at the restaurants. We really enjoyed eating at The Roadhouse Restaurant! We liked how easy it was to get around. We were able to enjoy sufficient activities. The swimming pool that was on the property, the beautiful scenery and open field that you can stroll through.
Gray Ghost Inn has great atmosphere. I liked the living room with the fireplace and the terrace has great views at the forest behind the hotel. Also our room had view at the forest. The beds and the pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast is also very nice and served with a big smile. You feel like being at the house of a very good friend. I also appreciated the fact that they made arrangements in order to have a very easy late check in (at 11:20 pm). I will stay there again if I visit Mount Snow.
I went there in order to attend a conference at the nearby Grand Summit Hotel (no single rooms available there) so I chose this off-site option, within walking distance. It's a nice quite place, with a small swimming pool and a very nice large garden. There were few other guests - and they respected the silence during the night (it's a wooden structure, so not really soundproof, but I slept well). Breakfast is included. WiFi worked well enough.
The moutain views from the inn were magical! I saw one of the best sunrises of my life. Request Room #4 if you want to be able to see the mountains and sunrises from your bed!
The innkeepers Lee and Charles were warm and caring. We loved getting to know them and the other guests over breakfast.
Breakfast options were wonderful with fresh fruit, local eggs, organic milk, good coffee, pancakes & french toast with Vermont maple syrup of course.
What I liked most and foremost was Patrick, the manager, chef, server, front desk attendant and overall wonderful person. In spite of Booking.com's screw up with their listing, Patrick was able to fix it for us. The room was good and very clean. The breakfast, freshly prepared and served by none other than Patrick, was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located and close to a variety of POI's.
Lovely hotel with beautiful views and walks out the back. Just of the Vermont 100 which was great for our little road trip. Staff were super friendly and made a great dinner recommendation. Rooms were clean and the whole place had a beautiful ski lodge style.
The manager of the hotel, Caroline, was very kind and helpful. The location to the mountain, a local bar and the market are spectacular. The pool was closed as there was a blizzard, but the hot tub (tiny) was open. Luckily I had it to myself.
The hotel should go back to a full breakfast when staffing permits. The large fireplace should be repaired to meet code and be put back in use.
This does not take away from the great hospitality and location.
Atmosphere and design have make me feel that I had left a country and being somewhere in middle of England with wild flowers around hotel and charms of owners making breakfast and tell her stories
Manager Patrick saved this being a 0 rating. The lady checking us in had such a couldn't care less attitude.
Potentially a lovely hotel. Plenty of communal space.
