I loved the room. It had a sink, microwave, refrigerator, whirlpool with shower a double sink in bathroom. The Livingroom area and deck was great. I love the area and short walk to town. They have breakfast and evening you can go to there diner to dinner if you like on certain day. It was very relaxing and enjoyed the place! My husband and I LOVED our experience at the Inn! Everyone who worked there was exceptionally friendly, professional, and kind. We got the true "New England" feel staying at the Inn! The breakfast each morning was outstanding. The Inn is such a beautiful, charming, and cozy place. We highly recommend it!

Cute town, quaint ant easy to get around.
Cute town, quaint ant easy to get around. Enjoyed our brief one day stay. We were there on Sunday-Monday, in early October, very few restaurants open but the restaurant that was open had great food with a good atmosphere.

The bookstore - a real one; the restaurants, each high quality in its type; the high end gift shops with unique products; the summer home of Abraham Lincoln's son (President of the Pullman Passenger Car Company). Gorgeous mountain scenery. Wonderful - and oh so patient staff everywhere. Very evident pride of community. A community that works for every-one - even the locals in busy tourist times. The absence of "can find anywhere on the planet" mall stores - a real plus plus!

We visited “Hildene,” the summer home of Robert Todd Lincoln and his family and descendants: very interesting historical site with spectacular views of the mountains and valleys. The town is picturesque and offers good shopping and snack/dining choices. We also had perfect weather— which never hurts.
Nice quiet area overlooking the mountains. Great friendly proactive couple running the lodge. Homemade breakfasts were a huge plus. Lodge is constructed of individual adjoining one-room cabins which was great and added to the privacy and quietness. Manchester is a great historic town with some very good restaurants. Only 15 minute drive or so to Bromley Mtn., 30 to Stratton - all mainly via uncrowded local roadways.
Hotel is beautiful , staff fantastic, room spectacular, cookies every day just amazing experience. Breakfast basket -amazing, great choices for all even picky eaters. Loved the restaurant as well ate there twice in our 3 night stay, food was great!!! Loved the bathroom -it was huge !!! The bath tube with jets might be a bit high for older ppl but we loved it. Loved it all , cant wait to come there again.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay there!
Huge rooms, really comfy beds with an awesome view into the woods.
The backyard provides enough place to enjoy the sun, either directly at the river or a bit more above.
The hottub was the cherry on top and made the stay perfect!
The location is also very nice: 5' from manchester center and 5' from the nearest hike - perfect!
Would love to stay there again
The location of the hotel and its beautiful surrounding scenery are both lovely. Our room was stylish, warm and comfortable. Check in was smooth and friendly and the lady took the trouble to advise us on places to eat.
Access to the town is very good and only a very short distance.
Unlike some other reviewers, we felt that the breakfast arrangement was pretty good and more than adequate.
This was our third stay at The Inn at Manchester.
The room and amenities were fantastic for the price.
Breakfasts served were fresh and gourmet. All products were locally sourced in Vermont.
The staff members are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and local events.
A+ to The Inn at Manchester. Planning on returning in the Fall!!!
Breakfast was simple but excellent quality. Room was a good size and very comfortable. There was a thunderstorm the day we arrived which took out half the power in the town but the staff were very helpful changing our dinner reservation to a restaurant that had power. Manchester is a delightful place which is well worth a visit.
Every thing. It is much more than "a motel". The room was comfortable, the owners are extremely friendly and helpful, fresh coffee and home made cakes every day for breakfast, very nice and convenient location. the overall atmosphere is very special. A very good place to stay when you visit the area of Manchester.
The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The location was close to the center of Manchester Center, but at about a quarter of a mile away from the highest traffic volume. It is in a very scenic area. We bought breakfast at the restaurant inside the hotel and the food was excellent.
Excellent Location, close to downtown Manchester.Every room has a gorgepus view.
The owners are very welcoming and take great care of each and every guest. Feels more like a family. Definitely recommend and will come again.
Enjoyed all the extras the hotel had, fire pit, golf course, indoor pool and a pond to fish in. The proximity to town was perfect too, could walk into town for dinner or shopping. Jackie was very helpful too.
Nice hotel.Very central with easy walk to shops and restaurants.Probably the most affordable hotel in the area.
Nice complimentary breakfast and lovely indoor pool.
Rooms and bathroom large and very clean
Nicely located hotel. Staff were very friendly.
The room was clean and big enough for 4 of us.
The baseboard was also nice. Less dry forced air means good night sleep. Indoor Pool & jacuzzi was also nice.
The location was in a perfect for our needs. My wife and I have this week off and come up to this area every year. She goes into Manchester shopping and I head up skiing at Bromley. 10 min each way!
