Staff was very friendly and informative and rooms were clean
Massive snow storm so we didn’t do much. Couldn’t sleep due to the loud teenagers in the hallway running around all night. No towels
At the pool. When we went back to the pool in the morning our key card wouldn’t open it. Then once we got in the loud group of teenagers were causing chaos in the pool room so I had to take my 7 year old out

Burlington is a charming little town with a small city vibe.
Burlington is a charming little town with a small city vibe. I have family history there so we spent time seeing areas of family interest as well as interesting sights around town. Also very close to Canada for an easy quick trip to Montreal.

Walked to University mall and ate at Applebee's.
Walked to University mall and ate at Applebee's. The food was good and service satisfactory. The mall had several known stores. Dorset Street was very noisy with cars and motorcycles during the night.
The only redeeming quality of the Anchorage Inn was its proximity to the airport.
Would never consider staying there again and am seeking a refund.

Beautiful town, nice shopping and dining
Beautiful town, nice shopping and dining
When colleges have special events it’s impossible to get a dining reservation at the best spots
The contrast between the pricey flair and the ubiquitous homelessness is stunning.
Homeless people are at every corner, in front of churches, at the town park ( wondering if they built a brand new fountain so that they can wash up) many stoned and drunk out of their minds

Burlington is welcoming, diverse, and eclectic.
Burlington is welcoming, diverse, and eclectic. The city is colorful and easy together around with multiple choices for transportation from bikes, walking, bus, taxi, or Lyft. Parking in municipal garages make avoiding street parking easier. During busy times, I recommend not using your car, if you are unfamiliar to Burlington. We were there to take the City Brew Tour as Vermont has more breweries per capita than other states. The meeting spot for th Brew Tour was by the Ben & Jerry's ice cream shop that was constantly busy.
Airline cancelled my flight and I needed a hotel by the airport. La Quinta S Burlington was the perfect location being just 1 mile from terminal, and the aid of a free shuttle at ANY hour to and from airport made it that much easier. Rooms, overall hotel and staff were clean and friendly. Both Frank and Shannette helped me with my multiple questions and Shannette offered great suggestions for the riverfront area which is a $10 Lyft/Uber away. Thank you Shannette!
The breakfast was not very good. For example the sausage paddy’s were likely frozen then cooked in a microwave and were soaking in water, not very appetizing.
The location in respect to being close to stores and restaurants was fine but entering and exiting the property was actually difficult/dangerous as you were on a very busy road. Also the hotel could use a lighted sign near the entrance to the property.
Location was ideal for me as hotel is close to both train station and bus station. The quick access to the Island Line trail for a nice walk or run by the lake was great, too.
Juniper restaurant on the hotel premises was a relaxing place to have breakfast.
I hope I can go back one day and enjoy the free bicycle rental provided by the hotel.
Property is very well situated - walking distance to all the main areas of downtown Burlington. The staff ar very friendly and efficient. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Plus I like that the housekeeping staff doesn't change the bedsheets every day - unless you ask. Much more ecological.
This hotel far exceeded my expectations. Free happy hour with appetizers, wine, and beer; high quality breakfast, beautiful and cozy lobby with a huge stone fireplace, spacious and comfortable suite. I loved it and will only stay there when I travel to Burlington.
Excellent location by mall with easy access to highway or very short drive to downtown Burlington. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was basic but adequate (there is an IHOP across the street). There is a small indoor pool, good for little kids, that I did not use.
Everything was great. The Hotel was very reasonably priced. The restaurant food was very good, with a Tavern/Pub style menu, there are enough menu items to choose from. The Spa/Pool area is great. the outdoor hot tub was perfect, even totally outside.
The room was very nice - the bed was very comfortable with good variety of pillows. Updated shower and large bathroom was nice. The location is great - just across the highway from UVM and only 5 minutes from downtown Burlington.
Great staff and comfortable room. More like a hotel than a motel as you do not pull in your luggage from your car! You can see your car from the window and the property has cameras and security so no worries.
The location and the property is very nice. The hotel is centrally located to downtown and the waterfront area with a fantatsic view of the lake. The room is also well appointed.
The reception area has a nice ambience. Breakfast was a little better standard than some other hotels we’ve stayed with. Bed was very comfortable and room clean and spacious.
The hotel was very clean. Modern and welcoming to walk in the front doors. Room was excellent. Staff at front desk were great and gave us a room on the quiet floor
