For a huge facility the place was nearly immaculate. Staff exceeded my expectations by upgrading me - at no extra cost, and I didn't ask - to their best suite, knowing I was a light sleeper, when they realized a teen party would be close to the original room they had chosen. Very nice (Kim & Krystal) staff. The breakfast buffet was also spot on - you won't go hungry there!

I wanted to share that the receptionist was incredible. She had such a great hospital personality. I do not remember her name, but she just had a grandbaby and was wearing a walking boot. She Was stressed and very busy but handled it very well.

Ogden is an EXTREMELY expensive place to visit or live.
Ogden is an EXTREMELY expensive place to visit or live. There is no other reason for us to visit there other than to visit our son, his wife, and baby. Would not recommend visiting otherwise. WAY too expensive.

The room was dark and could have used repairs.
The room was dark and could have used repairs. The baseboard was coming off near the window. The a/c was blowing fan air only. The breakfast was ok, but the items were not being replenished. The breakfast worker spoke no English. Beds were clean, front desk clerk was pleasant.

Room very scarcely furnished.
Room very scarcely furnished. Nothing provided for kitchen use such as dishes, silverware, pots, pans, but you could buy them. Ridiculous. Front office almost never staffed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!!!! Total thumbs down!

Actually, I was just passing through. I might have stayed longer, but rain and snow were forecast ahead on my route. By making this a sleep-and-go I was able to enjoy the drive on east with no weather worries.

The Ogden area is beautiful.
The Ogden area is beautiful. Wasatch Mountains are different than others and interesting to look at. For us it was easy to get together with family and get to an appointment in Salt Lake City with the closeness to the freeway. Many places to eat, with lots of good food.
It was fairly easy for us to get around Ogden since we lived there for 16 years and come back to visit family whenever we can.

This particular best western pluse canyon pines in horrible.
This particular best western pluse canyon pines in horrible. I would not recommend anyone going there. The hot tub was absolutely filthy, and the staff did not care. The manager on staff, Nicolas ,was very rude, unhelpful and frankly disgusting. The staff is very poorly trained.
I had an awesome room with a very spacious bathroom. I had a clear view of the city from the 7th floor. I frequently visit family in Ogden and the Hampton is where always stay. Its in a good location, simple walk to oldtown and there is a additional venues(movie theater, EoS gym, restaurants) across from the hotel and if you're a baseball fan, LA Dodgers triple A team stadium is a block away. And if you enjoy walking, there is a walking path along the river which is a mile away.
All round a good choice for location, cleanliness, staff (Tim at reception). A hotel is new, clean and fresh, and the room very comfortable for the two of us. An easy walk to great pubs and restaurants. Two recommendations would be Stella's for dinner, great ambiance, food and service, and for any Beatles fan the City Club is a must.
This hotel is an absolute dump. The rooms are in disrepair, it smells, is dirty and I can’t believe it’s allowed to carry the flag. Holiday Inn Express isn’t expected to be four diamond, but it should stand on its own for being a reliable value in a clean and comfortable (enough) room. Seriously disturbing!
I stayed here to snowboard at Snowbasin. I chose the hotel because it is the closest place to stay, and the drive to the resort and back each day was straightforward and quick. The room was comfortable, the hot tub was wonderful and uncrowded each time I used it, and the breakfast was top-notch.
The location of the hotel was great --lots of restaurants within walking distance. Room was clean and average size. The front desk staff was excellent -- easy check in, no wait and provided valuable information about the area, hot tub, breakfast and parking.
We stayed in the new section and the room was awesome. Big. Clean. Plenty of room to move. Best hotel, room-wise of the week long road trip. Breakfast was standard breakfast buffet fare. Kids enjoyed the pool. The back garden is a neat space.
Clean and well-designed rooms. The beds are very comfortable and it was comforting to be in such a clean space.
A great, warm breakfast is included- especially nice at the moment when so many hotels have reduced to sweet cereal bars only.
My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The room was super comfortable, clean and spacious. Fully equipped kitchen, the complimentary breakfast was well stocked and the location was just a few minutes from downtown.
Staff was excellent, hotel rooms were very clean which was really nice. The daily breakfast was exceptional. It gave numerous options and staff was very friendly and kept all available items fresh.
Cute property on the Ogden River, loved the sound of the river. Hot customized breakfast made to order and delivered to your room in morning was a nice touch.
