Super easy access to the Natl Park with lots of fun options...
Super easy access to the Natl Park with lots of fun options for night time entertainment and dining. We were there a bit "off season" and there were a lot of people there. I belive it could be severely overcrowded in the middle of summer. Traffic is a bit of a nightmare. Get a hotel in walking distance or use the trolley. The shark tunnel at the aquarium is a must see

The Gatlinburg strip can be a very fun place.
The Gatlinburg strip can be a very fun place. Don’t let the crowds overwhelm you. There is something for everyone whether it be restaurants with great food and live entertainment, many candy stores most of which let you watch the candy being made, attractions, mini golf, souvenir shops, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend taking advantage of the FREE trolly rides to get to your destinations rather than the HIGH parking fee in Gatlinburg. Anakeesta, Ober Gatlinburg or the space needle offer you a spectacular view of the mountains. The strip gets VERY hot and muggy in the summer midday, plus everything is prettier at night lit up. The attractions can get pricey so be sure you check for coupons.

Gatlinburg is always a wonderful place to visit.
Gatlinburg is always a wonderful place to visit. There were lots of tourists, with lots of rudeness and pollution. We saw far more trash on the ground that before. I'm sure the city couldn't keep up with it.
Also, the traffic flow needs to able to run more smoothly. No matter where you went (and we know the backroads), the traffic flow was very slow.

Gatlinburg is nice if you have money and don’t mind walking.
Gatlinburg is nice if you have money and don’t mind walking. Most everything there is overpriced. The lifts to get to attractions is expensive, $92 just to ride a ski lift to get to a small area of attractions and a few shops. Dollywood was the highlight of our trip. Of course it is in Pigeon Forge, about 8 miles. Easy in and out and plenty of rides and eateries.

It's a tourist trap. I expected that.
It's a tourist trap. I expected that. Streets remained clean, even on Memorial Day Weekend. No known panhandling, prostitution, or graffiti. Need more breakfast alternatives. Few restaurants open then and most advertise pancakes. We ate a Crocketts. Wonderful place.

Tons of shops. Plenty of places to do tastings!!
Tons of shops. Plenty of places to do tastings!! Live music and plenty of attractions. Great assortment of food and restaurants!! Been here now five times and will continue coming. One of my favorite vacation spots !! Everything is easy to walk. We walked every the whole time during out stay. Had a great time at mysterious mansion! Went to ole smoky three times. One of our favorite places to go. Great tastings. Tennessee whiskey was a place we went twice. Great tastings.
Myself and my friend did not have breakfast during our stay.
I did love this hotel though, the location was perfect, the free parking was welcome. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. What I enjoyed the most was the hotel felt quirky in a good way, the room was old fashioned but I loved that and we both enjoyed the rocking chairs on the balcony.
I would have no problem recommending this hotel and if I’m lucky enough to come back to Gatlinburg I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Hotel was convenient to downtown Gatlinburg. Overall the room was clean. No check in or out needed which was very convenient. Offered a checkoff list for any extra linen, towel or toiletries that may have been needed for the stay which was simple, fill it out, leave it on the door and your supplies were left for you at the door. They have a community kitchen where you can cook your own meals and a community center (room) with a pool table, tv, computer and printer if needed.
The location of the hotel was great. You could walk to everything in Gatlinburg. Arrive and park the car with free parking and not have to drive again unless going into another area. We loved our room with the balcony on the river ( fed geese and ducks everyday ). The size of the room including the bathroom was really nice. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Amazing location - a short walk to downtown but out of the bustle of the town centre. Free convenient parking and only a short drive into the national park which was the reason for our visit. The apartment was clean and comfortable, brand new and modern decor, really made us feel at home! Thanks Laurie for a fantastic stay in Gatlinburg.
Everything! We got a whole apartment to ourselves for cheaper than a hotel! And it was perfect! It has a small but functional kitchen and a living room with a hideaway couch. It is downtown close to the Ober Gatlinburg entrance. We didn't have to pay to park downtown, we just walked. We will definitely stay here again!
The location was conveniently located to downtown Gatlinburg. It is about a block from the back entrance of the Village. We were on the ground floor and my granddaughter loved that she was able go directly out of the room into the pool area and then back into the room without having to walk around the whole hotel.
The hotel was perfect for our couple nights in Gatlinburg. We were close to the main city center as well as the trails in the GSMNP. The hotel itself was slightly dated but you could tell they're updating everything. The staff couldn't have been any friendlier and for the value, I would recommend.
The Lodge was very cute, clean and the staff was extremely friendly! The location was great, right in downtown Gatlinburg, we walked the entire strip and back to the hotel easily. The room was very spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the amenities were great.
Loved this hotel! The employees were all very helpful and friendly. The rooms where very clean and nice. The breakfast was very good. It's also located right in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg so you can walk to basically anywhere you want to go.
The view was beautiful of the town, the room was clean and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating.
The hotel was located in the perfect location; was within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. Would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was older but was very clean and well kept. The location was very convenient for walking to downtown Gatlinburg and the balcony overlooking the creek was very peaceful. A really good value for the price.
The location is near everything in the downtown Gatlinburg. The river is running by the hotel, which is nice. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good.
