Super clean, comfortable for one night. Located off the main road. Family owned small motel. its exactly what the reviews state. Dated, clean and good value for money. Felt completely safe. Starbucks located down the street.

We were surprised at the many things to do that were close.A simple stroll around the historical society was terrific. A short drive to many beautiful places. Plenty of places to eat and shop if you forget something.

Dos Amigos has excellent, authentic Mexican food!
Dos Amigos has excellent, authentic Mexican food! We even planned to stop on our way back through. There's also a little shop in the same building is worth a visit. We only had an overnight stay but could easily stay longer to view the beautiful scenery. It is very close to Stoystown 9/11 Memorial. We stayed at the Days Inn because it was pet friendly. Very clean motel.

Hampton Somerset was a great choice. It was very clean.
Hampton Somerset was a great choice. It was very clean. Room a nice size. Fabulous breakfast available. Everything I hoped for. My only problem was trying to get to it from the road. The GPS wanted us to get back on the turnpike. We could see the Hampton but couldn't get to it. We called and the gentleman at the desk was very helpful and kind.

People are friendly, hotel located in a confusing and busy set of intersections. Dumpy area and lots of traffic outside hotel. Somerset is busy with very lovely areas surrounding..easy driving once out of city. Way too many Donald Trump signs everywhere. People want to visit without having controversy or feeling pressed. Leave politics out of the scenery! Just let a town have its character.!

If you plan to visit the Flight 93 Memorial park, Dollar Inn will more than get the job done. It is approximately 13.5 miles from the park. My husband and I would recommend King's restaurant. The food was almost like home cooking. The portions were plentiful and a great value.

Nice little town, though the hotel is in very developed area...
Nice little town, though the hotel is in very developed area just off the turnpike, not especially nice there -- but the advantage of being easy to find and get back to from other areas. Somerset sort of near Flight 93 Memorial and some state parks, of which we went to one before I became ill and had to go home early. Went to Laurel Hills State Park, which was charming. Many fast food places, and I understand there were other places as well, though difficult due to covid-19. Somerset is not difficult to get around at all.
This was our second stay at this hotel and the staff continues to be so friendly and courteous. The free breakfast buffet is outstanding with a number of different selections to choose from. The room was again prepared and ready even though we arrived two hours early before check-in. We are already planning on staying there again when we go to visit family next month in that area
Roger the hotel inn keeper was wonderful in all aspects. Friendly, accomendating, and a great conversationalist. This is a unique hotel with lovely accents. I do recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. One thing that I do recommend for better access is the replacement of the key system. This needs to be updated with keyless entry methods.
I've stayed in many hotels/motels, both independent and chain. My husband and I were in the area for a fishing weekend and just wanted a cheap place to sleep for one night. The owner was very nice and the room was immaculately clean. Comfy bed, microwave and fridge for $60...unreal. We'll definitely stay here again.
The hotel was overall very clean and the staff was very friendly. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. We went for breakfast once and the food was stocked and organized. The location of the hotel was right off the turnpike and in the middle of some great restaurants in Somerset.
Great location ~25 minutes from seven springs ski resort and 1/7 the price of staying on site. Older basic hotel but seems to have had some money recently put into it with the change in brand. Nice clean room, decent hotel breakfast too and under building parking.
The price was excellent. The front desk was very informative and helpful. The location of the hotel was so great for food and convenience stores. The breakfast bar was sufficient and had a lot of breakfast items along with milk, juice and so forth.
Bryan was Excellent! Our booking.com was reserved but the hotel didn’t get there funds on our arrival but Bryan was so willing to get us settling in and deal with it.
Facility was well kept, beds were comfy, shower was warm..
The hotel was very clean, rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made a special effort to get us adjoining rooms because we were traveling with kids.
This was the first hotel we used in Pennsylvania since we arrived from Texas and they we very polite and the price was great. It's also located near alot of things in the town so you can get alot done.
Awesome breakfast. Hotel is older but super clean. The person at the front desk whom I believe was the owner was so nice. He made us feel very welcome.
