Interesting part of the US. Significant with respect to early settlement, strategic location during English, French and Native American territory disputes, industrial development and cultural importance. Heinz Museum easily the best museum I've ever been to, it captures more than just history of Pittsburgh, or the Heinz brand. It captures decades human and commercial American history similar to a lot of cities.

As cities go it is a pretty nice place.
As cities go it is a pretty nice place. None in my party felt unsafe walking around the area we were visiting. The tourists' attractions are many and a stroll to, around and fromThe Point was lovely. It is a university city, so you experience a lot of diversity and cultures which, for me, adds to the experience.

Traveled here for the Drake Concert.
Traveled here for the Drake Concert. I have to say, I have never traveled anywhere in the world with more miserable people. EVERYONE I came in contact with was extremely rude to say the least. After thinking about it, it could be because of the stance on Cannabis there. It's one of those places you travel to if you have to.

Pittsburgh was very beautiful and friendly.
Pittsburgh was very beautiful and friendly. We did not have time for any of the museums, so we will have to come again. We had events to attend. But for just exploring the city and museums, maybe 2 days would be enough. Great public transit.

We loved the Carnegie museums and Phipps Conservatory.
We loved the Carnegie museums and Phipps Conservatory. There are many beautiful buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries and numerous parks. Two and a half days were not enough to see all we wanted to see.

I had no idea what a beautiful clean city Pittsburgh is.
I had no idea what a beautiful clean city Pittsburgh is. It's easy to get around via public transportation and ride sharing. I discovered the Waterfront area. We went to the movies and there is the cutest shopping center right across the road.
Great location downtown Pittsburgh! I booked this hotel based on reviews and location to the Paints arena. It was a very short, safe & easy walk to the arena. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast that was included was simple & decent, nice perk for happy hour buffet food & drink. The room was a good size with a very high ceiling about 10-12ft high which makes it feel spacious. The hotel has a clean indoor pool (8th floor) & has an outdoor patio on the same floor which is a really nice feature.
Great and easy communication with Carina. She responded very quickly even though our stay in Pittsburgh was extremely short notice and arrival time was up in the air on a Saturday night. She was extremely helpful in navigating me into the building and room. Carina even suggested nearby food and other options for our stay. The location could not have been closer to where my best friend lived. It was SO much better than renting a hotel room. I would definitely stay here again!
Was excited to hear there was a breakfast but after looking it over decided to go elsewhere. We stayed at the Cambria a few years back for an event it was wonderful back then they offered a shuttle service which was great, apparently it has been discontinued , it was quite a hike to go downtown to take in the shops and restaurants the one and only plus was the subway a block away which took us to both of our events which were quite a distance from the hotel
so convenient to downtown Pittsburgh. Close to coffee shops and restaurants. The lobby is large with lots of seating. I appreciated that they had a beer cooler in the lobby where you could get a beer. The bedding was quite comfortable and good quality. They had a small refrigerator and a coffee maker in the room. They have valet parking available for $25 per day, although there is a lot right. ext door which is $18 a day.
What a beautiful hotel!!! So clean, new, and staff are very friendly! We came to Pittsburg to watch a Pirates ball game so the drive to downtown is about 15-20 depending on the traffic. Parked a couple of blocks from the stadium and walked. Also near shopping centres (old navy, target, Home Depot, Walmart…also near restaurants. Great place and beautiful city! Would come back to Staybridge on my next stay!! Thank you!
The free breakfast and happy hour were awesome. The staff couldn’t be nicer. The hotel was full but the rooms were so quiet. One of the best places I’ve stayed in Pittsburgh. I want to recognize Darnell from the breakfast help. He worked so hard to make sure there was always fresh hot food for all guests and that the tables were cleaned and ready to seat more. Loved the patio to chill with friends and family.
Hyatt House Southside in Pittsburgh has the best breakfast, very clean, variety of hot and cold food is excellent and the food and coffee are well above average. The staff in general went out of their way to be helpful and kind. Hotel location and room setup are great for anyone that can take advantage of the kitchen and appreciates that the room provides much more than a place to sleep.
The room is located in downtown so it is definitely convenient for that but not being sent the right codes for the doors and getting no response from the customer service was terrible. The Korean restaurant next door was a great place to wait around while Stay Pittsburg did not reply to my messages or calls.
Great location. you can walk to most downtown attractions and you can easily get to the riverside trails. Complimentary parking beats most of downtown hotels. Close to convention center. The bed was very comfortable. Good breakfast included. Friendly staff.
very clean, comfortable, updated rooms in a beautiful historic building, off street parking, nice grab and go breakfast, convenient location to get to wherever you are headed in Pittsburgh whether it be downtown or the university, etc. very friendly staff
I really liked the location because we were so close to the city and basically go to stores close by. Also, there were restaurants that was close by as well. We were able to go downtown Pittsburgh easily because the hotel was only a couple miles away.
The hotel is in a good location in the downtown of Pittsburgh. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel has a few nice facilities like a little fitness center. The price was reasonable, but quite high for the service offered
Everything was wonderful! Just wish coffee was available for a longer period of time in the hotel lobby. Although there are coffee makers in the room and a coffee shop nearby, having fresh brewed coffee would enhance the morning experience.
The staff at the hotel was very polite and friendly. We were very well taken care of. The location was great and easy to walk to downtown and the attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable. My daughter loved the pool :)
The property is beautiful and is kept very clean! The location is ideal with being in downtown and right next to the stadium and you can’t beat the in room river views and free valet parking!
Accessibility to downtown Pittsburgh. Easy on/off highway. Hotel was updated and design used space much more efficiently. Rooms were quiet, clean and also updated. Lovely stay!
Bed was comfy, room was roomy, it's a cheap hotel so it's going to be poor. And I
