Came to look at houses in various towns!! Sea Lion Cave was interesting. The Pancake Mill is a great place to get breakfast. Of course it was raining a lot so it was not the time to go shopping and looking at other places...but we will be back when the weather is better!!

The Waterfront Depot restaurant shouldn't be missed but get a reservation. The food and service are top notch. Traveler's Cove has really good Mexican food. The ambience is fair but there is a nice view. Great service. The Restobar restaurant should be avoided. The food is terrible, and the ambience is ok if you like batting flies away from your food. The service is below average.

There are really only 2 options to say in Florence Old Town.

There are really only 2 options to say in Florence Old Town. Both are right next to Old Town. I have chosen Old Town Inn for both of my stays in Florence. I really enjoy Florence Old Town; it is right along the banks of the Suislaw River. Cute shops and restaurants abound. Many a harbor seal to be found in the river. If you get tired of the river, and Old Town, don’t fret…the sand dunes and the ocean are just on the other side of Hwy 101. Florence is a larger Oregon Coastal Town; therefore if you need something the quaint shops of Old Town cannot provide, Florence has you covered. Florence is also just over an hour away from Eugene, and Newport (Yachats is only 25 min away). Will you enjoy Florence? Absolutely!

    I have always loved Florence.

I have always loved Florence. The Old Town has lots of good restaurants and shopping. It's very relaxing and is nice and cool in the summer! There is a really nice nursery on the north end of town and you can drive around the countryside and looks around.

Sea Lion Caves were worth the price! Old Town is a must!

Sea Lion Caves were worth the price! Old Town is a must! Darlingtoniia Preserve was a quick 5 minute adventure. Too much to do in a short trip! Lovely town, but very, very windy when hot in the valley.

    I love Florence Oregon!

I love Florence Oregon! We visited the beach where they blew up the dead whale in the 1970's! 😜 Biggest down fall is their aren't a lot of restaurants to choose from. The ones they have, have good food, just not a lot of dining space. Beautiful weekend lots of sun.q

Easy access to the old town portion of Florence. Good parking, Even with being right on HWY 101 we didn't notice a lot of noise at night. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. We didn't interact with staff except for check in. They were friendly and helpful. They gave us info on a future stay when we bring our pets. They had a list of hotels that accept pets in the local area they had printed and waiting to give guests. That was a nice gesture.

The location is at a top of a hill. I was able to walk to Old Town Florence easily and I found the walk up the hill to be good exercise. My room had a very large spa tub that was wonderful! The setting in the trees is very beautiful! The Three Rivers shuttle is available from this hotel, but be prepared to walk down and up the driveway. The staff was were receptive and helpful.

There’s no getting around it, this hotel is in need of refurbishment. But any shortcomings here are more than made up for by the attitude of the staff. John on reception, is the consummate professional, going well beyond my expectations to help me out when I had a transport problem. I really can’t praise his attitude highly enough - whatever they’re paying him isn’t enough.

Lovely motel with nice decor. As far as we saw each room is different - ours was very clean, upgraded, attractively furnished. Beds were separated by the door which gave even more comfort. The place was few miles from Florence just off the main road but it was quiet and we didn't hear any road noice during the night. Very helpful reception and staff.

This was one of our favorite places we stayed during our 2 week trip. The house was amazing and the lake view was magical with all of the landscaping. Highly recommend. So clean and felt like home. The beds were very comfortable and we will book this again when we come back to Florence. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

wonderful wooden floor, no carpet and it's just beyond praise for a hotel next to the beach where there are wonderful sand dunes and of course you bring sand into your room no matter how you shake it off and usually it's a big problem with the carpet. And here it's just wonderful , and in the room and in the corridors just the floor.

Homey, pleasant, very quaint. They have a real continental breakfast not like the other hotels/motels that give you a wrapped muffin and a juice box and call it breakfast. We’ve enjoyed our stay when we have booked here. The Lily, aka the pooch gives it 2 paws up as well 🐾

Although there are few amenities, the Landmark Inn is basic, simple, and very pleasant. It was absolutely quiet at night, and the inn is in a good location - within walking distance from Old Town. This will be our go-to place when we come to Florence again.

Location was close to beach but sheltered from the wind. Everything was clean and up-to-date. The washer and dryer were a definite plus. This location is close to the shopping and restaurants in Florence, dune buggy rides, sea lion cave and state parks.

Room was rustic, or 'period correct', fit right in with the area of Oregon. It was clean, nice bed, had TV. I like motels where you park right in front of the room rather than out in a parking lot while your room is several stories up.

The lighthouse Inn was clean, comfortable and good value for the money. The age of the hotel shows in the room but the bed was firm and very comfortable!. Very close to the very quaint "old town" where we had an excellent breakfast.

I liked how easy the beach access was and just the comfort of renting a house versus a hotel. Also liked the hose on the side of the house to spray off shoes that were sandy from the beach!
