A wonderful and friendly small town in beautiful Eastern Oregon. Historic Baker City is wonderfully well kept, and is filled with great historic buildings on the usual very wide streets that these old cattle towns have. Baker City is filled with unusual civic art, including a wonderful rotating selection of sculpture. There are good restaurants including our favorite, Barley Browns Brewery and Restaurant. There are wonderful views of mountain peaks. This is a great place to base your visit to Eastern OR. Lodgings are limited here so be sure to plan ahead.

Baker City is a great old western town. People are amazing. Sadly we didn't have enough time to explore Baker City but it looked quaint. If you go, walk the neighourhoods, great classic brick house and well maintain areas.

The location was fine, we could walk to stores and restaurants. The facility is old, needs some help, no hot water in the AM, ( we did have hot water in the PM). No grab handles in the bathroom for our 92 year old father. All in all was fine for asker City I suppose, not worth the price however. The Truck Stop restaurant was a pleasant surprise! Excellent food!

Baker City is a small old western town mainly serving the ranch and agricultural area. It has some charming historical houses and buildings, a cool old hotel, the Geisler Grand and a nice main street with several good restaurants and pubs. Don't miss going to Sweet Wive, a most excellent bakery/cafe.
Also an excellent kitchen supply store and book store, several antique stores and a wine place as well.
There are a couple of museums and it is a jump off place to visit National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center.

1. Loved the museum (Baker Heritage Museum) and a docent (Kathy) who talked with us. The information about Chinese laborers and immigration to the area was enlightening (stuff we should have learned in school!) and the Rock, Gem, and Mineral exhibit was absolutely amazing. We are not particularly interested in rocks or gems or minerals and were so surprised and delighted with this exhibit. 2. We went to the Geiser Grand Hotel and had a "grand", not cheap but reasonably priced, meal. Very pleased with our dinner and service at the restaurant in this historical hotel. 3. For people interested in US history, go to the Chinese Cemetery...it is free and informative. 4. The people in Baker City are genuinely nice people who help make any stay worthwhile.
It is a cute little house, with a large kitchen & large bathroom. The backyard was also quite large with a BBQ that looked brand new (we didn't use it). House was very clean on arrival. There were nice toiletries in the bathroom, utensils in the kitchen, etc. You can tell that the owners are very concerned with comfort and cleanliness.
This was our first time staying at a rental and weren't sure of what to expect. We were very happy with our stay. If we need to come back to Baker City, I would stay here again!
This was the absolut surprise on our trip through Oregon…
Hotel and staff just wonderful but the restaurant was exceeding everything 👍
Amazing food presented by an extraordinary chef cook. Best steak we ever had ( in years!!) and a homemade Bolognese with fresh herbs … original Italian.
Service was outstanding, the waitress was the friendliest person and very dedicated to her job.
Hopefully everyone gets the chance to stop by and meet this wonderful place to be and to meet and talk to the chef 😊
Great location in the center of town, easy walking distance to galleries, shops, and events. Beautifully restored historic building oozing old time charm with all of the modern conveniences. Gorgeous Palm Court restaurant with full stained glass ceiling plus a cafe and bar, all on site. Easy check in and out. A "don't miss" spot when visiting Baker City.
Pet Friendly separate building with lots of grass area for the dogs. This is our 4th time staying here and it is very convenient for an overnight stay, just off the highway, gas station next door, restaurant on site and others located close by, park just outside our room. Good TV and strong wifi.
This place is A GEM!! Very comfortable beds, Pet friendly, wonderful staff, breakfast was delicious and full of NON GMO products and drinks!! I really am so happy…better than any chain hotel, adorable rooms, great amenities. seriously, you gotta stay here!!
Baker City Oregon is really beautiful. Hard to find a bad neighborhood in this town. My wife and i look forward to this trip every year and enjoy shopping, eating and taking advantage of all the local businesses as well as the natural beauty here.
Friendly, safe, quiet, this was a perfect stop over for us in Baker City during our trip. We had a truck bed of equipment and were assured that we could sleep without worrying about anyone bothering it. It was a great place to stay.
I loved the hotel, just traveling 4,000 miles in uss .
Such a great value for money ,clean quiet and what a hotel at this price level should be.
. Fantastic bar near for great food etc at the cheapest prices I had in usa.
This facility was ok for Baker City, the location was fine, we were having a small Family gathering for our 92 year old father. The PM receptionist was great, very helpful and knowledgeable, helped us with the TV.
Absolutely delighted. Great location for Baker City. Staff could not have been more helpful/encouraging. Really good value. We paid almost 4 times as much for a room in Boise and this was by far better value.
Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. This hotel is a great value for the money. The location was great for what I needed. The staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. I will definitely stay here again.
We have stayed here twice now on our commutes through Baker City. Once with a dog, once without. It’s right off the highway which is nice. It’s clean. The breakfast is decent. The staff is friendly.
