The bartender was very friendly! Loved her. We got a room with a tub and when ours was having issues, the staff quickly gave us another room. It was in a beautiful location and everything was very well kept.

Quaint town. Neighborhoods and housing were nicely kept.
Quaint town. Neighborhoods and housing were nicely kept. I loved the layout and PNW-mountainy feel. Cute downtown areas with both a modern and traditional feel; i.e., modern amenities with a small-town feel. I didn't know there was a Shakespeare festival every year and would love to come back during this time. It's also a great place for outdoor activities like skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, etc.

We love Asland and the downtown area, and the shops, and restaurants and Caldera Brewing Company too. It is close to many wineries also, and attractions. If you like plays there may be something playing outside or inside that you like. We like the fact that there isn't a sales tax on most items too. We like Medford with it's Fred Myers grocery stores, and Harry and David with their food, and wine tastes. We love Jacksonville also and the Union Patio Bar and Grill where we eat on the outside patio, and their food is delicious, and they have a great happy hour over by 5PM, however, and the town is very historical. We drove to Lake of the Woods from there and it was nice to see that area with views of Mt McLaughlin, and a restaurant and bar area, and campgrounds, and boating and swimming. Crater Lake National Park is drivable from there, but it would be a longer drive. Grants Pass is also not very far, and there are many wineries there too.

Ashland is so beautiful, we finally took the time to go left off of HWY 5 and check it out! The downtown scene is very lively, loads of restaurants to check out, good variety as well. Worth a visit for sure!

We came for 2 plays at the Oregon Shakespeare Theater and enjoyed it immensely. Great restaurants, great bike path, and wonderful, wonderful ambience. Bear creek bikeway is one of the great trails in all of Oregon! Omar's Steak House is circa 1946 with wonderful food & atmosphere. We come down from Portland every year!

We were there for a play by OSF and we were not disappointed. I've always loved productions by OSF.
The Breadboard had delicious breakfast, really nice staff too. My husband loved Morning Glory for brunch. Downtown is lovely to walk along.
Overall we enjoyed Ashland and hope to return.
I had a great experience at the Windsor. I arrived a little late, due to traffic. The young man at the desk was immediately accommodating and helpful. In very short order, he had me checked in, told me the best way to access my room, explained various services, and helped me figure out the best way to balance my fatigue with a need to eat! Plus the hotel was lovely, my view in the morning spectacular, and my breakfast was perfect. I hope to come back.
We stay there as we drive south. This was the third or fourth time. The rooms are clean and a good size. The hotel is large with lots of free parking and it is located near I 5 so it is easy to access and exit. The breakfast was good for one that is included in the room price. The breakfast room was large and spacious and the choices were above average for a continental style breakfast. We like staying there for an overnight stop on a longer drive.
A precious birthday memory I will cherish while celebrating at the Bayberry Inn! The hosts were so welcoming. The the home is gorgeous, beautifully furnished and clean. It's conveniently located in downtown Ashland. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and Lithia Park. The keyless entry was convenient, bottomless coffee/tea bar was appreciated and gourmet truffles in room was a sweet surprise. The gourmet breakfast, oh my goodness….DELICIOUS!
We love this location for visiting our son at SOU. We have stayed here several times and the staff has always been helpful. This is not ideal if you want to spend most of your time in downtown Ashland unless you plan on driving there or going on a 30 minute walk each time. However, it is an easy 5-10 minute walk to several decent restaurants in South Ashland and 7-11 is right across the street. For the money, it is hard to beat.
This place is really nice and clean. It’s a pet friendly hotel, but our room had no smell or sign of another pet there. The location is perfect for being right in the mist of downtown. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and accommodating. There is a small creek on the property which was nice to walk along with my dog during the evening. Will be staying here again!
The staff was friendly, efficient and informative. Breakfast in the morning was adequate. Parking was convenient. Rooms are on the small side, but expected that with time period the hotel was built. Nice location for walking around town and getting a good feel for Ashland. This was a quick stop on way to San Francisco and we will stay here on our next trip to California.
The design and hominess was so well done, down to the seasonal candies, apple decor and animals to see in the yard (horses and an adorable cat!) It is so peaceful, clean, safe and quiet and so close to Ashland downtown and nearby hiking. Owner is a sweet, chatty, nice woman too!
The atmosphere of the resort was very relaxing, with soothing music and decor. The rooms have large soaking tubs, which are very nice. The breakfast was great, and there was a complimentary afternoon tea as well. Great location not far from downtown Ashland.
I absolutely loved this property. It is quaint and within walking distance of downtown Ashland. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Beautiful decor and a warm welcoming vibe. Great Place! Very efficient parking access.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, ALL the staff were friendly and helpful. It was very homey and cozy. It is right next to the Cabaret Theatre, so we could walk to and from the play and all over downtown Ashland.
Located close to Ashland's downtown shops and restaurants, we had an easy walk to everything we wanted to see. The breakfast room offered a wonderful assortment of items and the room was clean and comfortable with easy parking.
Front staff was excellent: professional and human.
Location was great: University, Ashland downtown, and Lithia Park all within walking distance.
Great view on the east side.
Adequate safe parking.
