I loved staying at the Oak Hill Bed and Breakfast on Love Lane! It felt like a home away from home and the owner is a fantastic cook! The views from the inn were spectacular. Downtown Waynesville was a great stroll for morning and afternoon, full of unique businesses from arts to antiques to niche boutiques. We had a wonderful time searching for treasures at Spenceberry Antiques and having a hearty lunch at Watami. It's the perfect driving distance for a night out in Asheville!!

Love the downtown area - has a lot to offer. One of the best restaurants in the area is called Chef's Table. Let me save you some time on the menu and go ahead and order the deconstructed lasagna! Amazing!

We love Waynesville, and have been attending events at Lake Junaluska Assembly for almost 40 years. Yikes, time flies! But spending time in Waynesville is a must. Things we love: Beach Mountain Diner, everything there is delish! Boojums patio with good food, craft beers and our doggo with us is perfect. Church Street Depot has the perfect burgers.
The mountains there are gorgeous, the climate is our preference!
The Kitchen Shop is the best, I have many items in my home from there, and the Dog Bakery has a wide selection, and you can donate to local charities in exchange for tennis balls for animal play! What trip is complete without a stop at the Mast General Store. How many shoes and hoodies do we have from there??? hmm.

The downtown area is awesome! I can't say enough about it.
The downtown area is awesome! I can't say enough about it. They have the best shops ever if you love art. It is close to the National Park. Next time I travel east, I would spend a whole week in Waynesville. The people in the shops were so friendly!
I wish I would've spent more time in Cherokee as well, which is close to Waynesville. There are artisans in Cherokee that I missed.

The location was nice not great.
The location was nice not great. Other properties were to close and did not add to the over all feeling of the property. Need to work on the entrance of the location,. Its eye appeal was not what I would say has a look at me. With that being said the interior did had a comfortable and inviting sensation to it. Old country charm in some degree. Both Waynesville and Maggie were very close to the unit. Transylvania County is near by for those of you that enjoy waterfalls They have over 250 of them. Something for everyone. I'm an artist and there is a lot of possible this to photograph and paint near by. I got to the property by using the Blue Ridge Parkway. That is a great drive scenic drive for scenery lovers. Not a lot of traffic and a slow comfortable pace.

What an amazing place to stay for a golfing outing/vacation. Absolutely no need to leave the property! The staff is very nice and accommodating.
I was happy to see they kept so much of the original Inn, in the remodeling of the facility. It makes you feel like you are part of the history of this place. Kudos to keeping the heritage in lieu of making everything look like every other new hotel.
Charming and cosy. The owner has put a lot of love and effort into the property. Facilities are excellent right down to the smallest detail E.g laundry detergent and a Smores kit for the fire pit. Outside areas are beautiful. Fireflies, rocking chairs, log fire, BBQ. Lovely quiet setting - so much bird song. Great location for Waynesville, Lake Junaluska and a spring board for the Smokies.
Good for a free breakfast. Assistant was helpful and pleasant. Needs an elevator to access front second level rooms. Difficult to get heavy luggage up stairs. Hotel was catering to motorcyclist, their trucks and trailers and was allowing them to totally control the second level access in the rear parking lot.
The Inn was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were very nice and Bill and Mary were excellent hosts. She prepared a special breakfast each morning which we loved. This is everything that you expect a bed and breakfast to be. I would recommend the Inn to anyone staying in the area.
Cozy mountain get away with a central location for day trips to Asheville, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Loved the pub-themed area downstairs, the feeling of being in the trees from the upper porch, and the sounds of gurgling creek.
The location was good. It was just the right distance out of the park after sunset, where we drove and ate in Waynesville. We loved Waynesville! The downtown is an art mecca with beautiful art. The downtown is beautiful. The breakfast was minimal. A snack.
Location is excellent. A little more quiet than downtown hotels. Room was clean upon arrival and cleaned each day of our stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a great stay here.
The hotel is an older one but it was clean and comfortable. I feel we got good value for the price. The view was beautiful. Check in was a breeze and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Easy access off the main road; we needed a place quick and it was quick to register; check in. Had the best WiFi I have experienced in a hotel. They had best tv channels to choose from.
Having worked in most jobs in hotels I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness that the staff provided. I would highly recommend this hotel.
