I can’t give Windham a fair review, because our stay was very short and it was rainy and cold most of the time. We did enjoy our stay at the Hotel Vienna, and noticed there’s a variety of interesting restaurants in the downtown area.

Pleasant enough location for visiting the local area.
Pleasant enough location for visiting the local area. Best suited for those who are hiking or undertaking other outdoor activities. Town of Windham has a reasonable choice of restaurants. We visited in late spring and it was fairly quiet. I'm guessing it is a more lively location in the skiing season.

For breakfast go to the Highland Grounds, for dinner go to Mill Rock. For lunch go to Windham Local, for a beer go to the Tap Room. The village of Windham is a beautiful town with lots of places to eat, drink, and be merry. The people are friendly and helpful. Good place for mountain bikers and hikers. Lots of great trails near by for all skill levels.
This lovely, beautiful property is perfect in every way! It's obvious that it's been furnished as a personal home, with all the extras that one wouldn't expect from a rental - full sets of toiletries, nice bedding, fireplace, BBQ, the works!
Having breakfast out on the terrace, enjoying the view down the valley to the distant mountains was the highlight of our day!
The owner was extremely responsive, give us great sightseeing tips and other help, could not have asked for better.
My sister and I were traveling with a Golden Retriever. Chose this place on the basis of recommendations and because it’s pet friendly. It worked out very well for us: spotlessly clean, comfortable, and indeed friendly to us and to my sister’s big dog.
Other pluses: Kind, friendly staff, and the Continental breakfast. At breakfast we especially loved the delicious croissants, which the general manager bakes fresh every morning.
Room size, the shower is awesome! Best shower in the entire trip! The bathtub is bigger than usual, the water pressure is perfect, it’s like a waterfall over your head, we loved! The staff is awesome either, the location, the darkness and quietness in the room to sleep was just perfect! This was the cheapest hotel I found in last minute choice to overnight in Windham and there’s no regrets at all!
First time staying at Albergo with my wife. The interior of the hotel and our room were spotless. They had a great spot to sit around an outdoor firepit to chat with other guests, enjoy the warmth of the fire and also the beautiful night sky. Topping it off, the breakfast choices were fantastic and delicious. Definitely worth going back again!
We had such a lovely 3 night stay here. The hotel has a real cozy feel and the staff are friendly. The hotel provide free coffee, hot chocolate and tea which is such a nice touch when you get back from a days skiing. It's a great location for both Hunter and Windham ski resorts. I would stay here again.
The hotel is a historic property that was first built in 1890's, then updated and addition put on. The hotel owners were very nice and helpful. The property was exceptionally clean and decorated in a pleasing abstract old world charm sort of way. The hotel gave off a warm feeling
The staff want to make sure you have a great time, they really do care. Kat and Joe especially made out stay memorable. The beds are comfortable and the hotel is well taken care of. The pool is a nice size and they keep it clean and well stocked with towels.
The location is convenient to Windham mountain and close enough to Hunter Mountain as well. The check in area is also a nice restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming and the room and sheets were clean.
Location was very cozy and had everything we needed after a day on the mountain. This was a great pit stop for our two day ski weekend. The restaurant and bar was great and the staff were all extremely polite, helpful, and friendly.
Nice location and owners! The room was clean and tidy, nice warm pastries for breakfast but overall was a bit limited. The landscape around the hotel is pretty! There is also a short walking trail with funny images of a goose :)
If you are looking for a bare minimum at a high cost, this place is for you. We enjoyed the breakfast basket. This is not a hotel to bring kids to, I can see this for adults only. The bar area seemed nice.
Excellent staff work. Friendly atmosphere. A free shuttle bus travels to the resort. The hotel is located on the main street. Nearby there is an excellent supermarket with cuisine and many restaurants.
A good old fashioned motel in a quiet rural roadside setting. Convenient for Windham, Hunter and surrounding area including Kaaterskill Falls and Catskill Mountains. Breakfast was an added bonus.
What a great hotel! We hadn’t realised it was an adventure hotel and so were delighted to find the e mountain bikes, pickleball and saunas on the site to kee us entertained all through the day
The location was perfect. Just a few minutes to town and to Windham Mountain. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. I would stay there again
