The room was perfect new carpets very clean totally quiet and the bed slept very well.the staff were there to help and the desk was prepared so it took no time to check in and the door lock worked first time. That is usually a terrible issue but not here.

Most people will stick to the shopping malls and the outskirts but you definitely need to go to the downtown area view the incredibly beautiful mansions of the streets and the centers and see the industrial colonial area by the river. There's also quite nice restaurants that are not chains or overpriced nonesense. It's small, but cute. Lots of cool antiques too

Plattsburgh was great as a stop on our way to Lake George.
Plattsburgh was great as a stop on our way to Lake George. Our 2 night stay was more than enough to explore the town, hike around "Point Au Roche" trails and take a day trip to Ausable Chasm. The purpose of our trip was to rest before we continued our way to South Jersey. However, we DO love this area and wished we have stayed a bit longer. Plattsburgh is the last big city before entering Canada to the north. It is a city located near Lake Champlain. We recommend this area for anyone who is seeking tranquility.
