Toilet had urine and hair on The seat. Hotel room floors looked dirty. That was disgusting and looked like it was remade instead of stripped. Stains And make up we're on the pillows as Well as other things like crumbs under the blankets. Pretty much had to clean room ourselves before we even unpacked.

Most people will stick to the shopping malls and the outskirts but you definitely need to go to the downtown area view the incredibly beautiful mansions of the streets and the centers and see the industrial colonial area by the river. There's also quite nice restaurants that are not chains or overpriced nonesense. It's small, but cute. Lots of cool antiques too

Plattsburgh was great as a stop on our way to Lake George. Our 2 night stay was more than enough to explore the town, hike around "Point Au Roche" trails and take a day trip to Ausable Chasm. The place we stayed at Americas best value in was very disappointing the room we booked the shower didn’t work then they gave me and my husband another room and the ceiling was falling apart and are door was hard to close…. The purpose of our trip was to rest before we continued our way to South Jersey. However, we DO love this area and wished we have stayed a bit longer. Plattsburgh is the last big city before entering Canada to the north. It is a city located near Lake Champlain. We recommend this area for anyone who is seeking tranquility.

The hotel is in a great location for all local places and is close to the highway. Close to Ausable Chasm and to Isle La Motte VT where we saw fossils. The pool was nice as well. Wished it was open later than 10 pm. It was something my kids looked forward to at the end of long days of events. We loved the hot tub and how it was located in it's own room. It had everything included that was described. Although we didn't take the chance to try breakfast due to being busy, it smelled amazing from our room. Loved the access to the pool and an arcade area, even a fitness area. All the staff were extremely kind and we ran into a few issues (of our own fault) that they helped us out with.
