The main hotel is nostalgic, and well thought out. Very nicely renovated. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices for all different tastes. The room was simple, pretty, and very roomy. We appreciated that the windows open for some fresh air. The locations we all downtown, offering easy access to shopping and eating.

Really cute cottage. Loved that the campfire was easy on/off and the grill was available for use. The campfire overlooked the woods and it was so nice to sit out there.
The cottage itself was clean and had extra amenities like popcorn and pancake mix for a fun touch. Bed was comfy as well.

No prostitutes and all the dregs it attracts including the pollution of cigarette smoke...and drugs. So many nice hotels are getting infiltrated by this activity.

The room was very clean. The employees were helpful and courteous. All was excellent.
We received list of restaurants nearby. We are at Mariner’s Cove and enjoyed our meals and great service.
Getting around Kingston was easy and delightful!

Be very careful about surge pricing over the weekend - this hotel is very poor value for money at weekend prices. I am also concerned that there is extremely limited concern for protecting the environment, a complete lack of energy efficiency - throw away cutlery and plates and bowls, no energy efficient measures in rooms. In my 4 day stay my room wasn't cleaned at all. Standards of food very poor.

Very nice place to stay.
Very nice place to stay. Excellent staff very helpful and friendly. Only negative would be more time at the pool. Maybe it could stay open a little longer. Breakfast was ok. Would have liked more hot food choices. Over all great place to stay. Would recommend to everybody to stay there. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Bed and towels were ok, which was the only positive.
Bed and towels were ok, which was the only positive. Unable to call the hotel prior to the check in as was Choice and Booking.com. Did not answer countless efforts to call and e-mail to modify the room from smoking to non-smoking, despite allow the phone to ring for almost 20minutes until it disconnected. Manager and staff were informed of this issue when we arrived and were totally uncaring. No explanation of the situation, in fact the manager did not verbally respond at all. First room has a dirty toilet and broken fridge. Second room was minimally passable aside from the AC being so old and loud that we had to turn it off just to sleep. Fridge loud and all items old.

There’s a gamut of things to do and places to see.
There’s a gamut of things to do and places to see. Yes during COVID we made sure the majority of our trip itinerary was outside. You can easily do 5 days up here in these surrounding counties in NY state.
The cottage is clearly recommendable, very charming and cosy and equipped with everything needed even for cooking midsize meals. The host Matthew is very attentive and responsive; directions and instructions were very clear. The neighborhood and immediate surroundings are quiet and feel absolutely safe. Kingston is a good location for exploring the Hudson Valley in both directions and itself worth a visit (State Senate House, Stockade District, Harbor) (Reserve at least three days!) Thank you, Matt!
Great little well appointed cottage in a wonderful location in Kingston! Very nicely remodeled one bedroom with a nice kitchen and bathroom and outdoor seating area (we didn’t have time to spend outside but it looked nice with a small grill too). Nice soap and well stocked kitchen (there was even ice in the ice trays) plus good air conditioning and shades on windows. Everything worked well and we enjoyed our short stay. Will definitely be back when we are in the area again!

Price is good and there's free parking. Breakfast is ok: coffee, apple/orange juice, small packaged muffin and granola bars. Staff is super friendly and the hotel is pet-friendly (for an extra $15US/night). The king size bed and pillows were very comfortable. Hotel is right in front of an amazing pizza place: Picnic Pizza.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite with kitchenette and sitting area. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed including pans, dishes and silverware. We were also with our dog and were able to walk her safely around the hotel in the grassy areas. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
The staff are super friendly. The room was very clean. For being a Super 8, it was really nice.
The shower is fantastic. The water pressure is great and all the fixtures work. There’s no need to worry about tweaking the shower to get is less scalding hot or ice cold. It’s just perfect.
Albeit loud noises from nighttime trains, the hotel does have everything for comfortable stay. Also, good values for price. The property is also quite new and locates near shops and marts. The hotel provides a lot of complementary things too, like "welcoming cookies" (ran out fast).
it’s in a convenient spot for getting on and off the interstate and good enough as a pit stop. Don’t expect much from this place though. Room is big, bed is firm and room clean - just. Perhaps all American hotels are expensive therefore this is ‘relatively’ reasonable?!
Big beautifully decorated rooms with lots of space, friendly host who provided great restaurant recommendations, within walking distance to all the great restaurants in Kingston, I felt safe and parking was secure.
Beautiful hotel. Comfortable room. Pool area and game room were in a beautiful setting almost like an outdoor oasis.. but inside for those cold winter days!
So many choices for breakfast!!
This hotel needs a total remodel. Faucets, shower and bathtub old, and dirty. Looks like air vent in bathroom and air-condition is the room has never Benn cleaned, see picks.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn in Kingston. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was very clean. The beds and pillows were heavenly.
