The variety of the breakfast provided was very good and the location was fine. The kitchen staff was excellent, but the quality of the food was not great. The scrambled eggs used powdered eggs, the oatmeal was slimy, the waffles and pancakes were spongy and undercooked. The fruits seemed to run out frequently.

What a gem, Santa Fe is! Once you get into the heart of it, it is very interesting. Very old and as such has the oldest house and church in the USA, 1600s. Church set up by Spanish from Mexico. It is full of interesting shops, bars and restaurants. There is a school of cuisine so possibly no wonder food is good here. This town is high altitude so you need at least 48 hrs to get used to it. You can get breathless. I am mild asthmatic so it was ok. We barely scraped the surface of the town. Loved the park in the centre, very sociable. We visited Georgia O'Keefe museum. Super place, very modern. Paintings are superb. Great gifts in shop. Loved the shop bag, very smart.
The airport is growing which is a good thing. Transport is the issue. People rely on lyft and uber to get around. But they are not always available near airport and at night. Taxi firms are charging, in the main, ridiculous pricing. Journey to town is 20 mins. You need to shop around. I was told pricing from 50 to 117 dollars, one way to hotel at night. Its 20 dollars in day. Car hire closes at 10pm so if flight late it could be a big problem. I'm told people just fly into Alburqueque instead and then drive to Santa Fe.

Santa Fe is a wonderful city to visit.
Santa Fe is a wonderful city to visit.
There is a great relaxed vibe, and there is a wonderful blend of cultures.
The art and food are wonderful within the city, and the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains invites many day trips for hiking, skiing, and simply smelling the ponderosa pine forests.

I love Santa Fe. A lot to see on the Plaza.
I love Santa Fe. A lot to see on the Plaza. A lot of culture and things to see in the region. Be mindful that it is at a higher elevation. It is cool in the summer and a lot colder than you would think at that latitude in the winter time. Come prepared.

Beware of the homeless, they are not exactly nice. was told you have to go to sleep sometime as was approached parking my vehicle. they told me no worries as they laughed" I called police SF PD no response. I was able to find a more secure parking spot, no incident.
This motel appears to be a bit of a working in progress and seems to have been recently taken over (the old sign is temporarily bagged over) and is now called the Santa Fe Inn and the new owners appear to be in the process of renovating it. There was no breakfast but there is a Walmart nearby. Parking on site is plentiful and this is one of the cheaper options for an overnight stay to explore the historic area of Santa Fe (10 minute drive with free on street parking after 8 pm). The staff were helpful and check in was efficient.
I LOVE the Sage Hotel. This was our second stay and it was even better than the first. The breakfast and the man who waits on customers was amazing. He went to the kitchen and got me some cream cheese for my english muffin! A real sweetheart! The pool was nice after a really hot day of shopping. We found out the second day that the hotel does a shuttle to the square and runs back and forth every hour. That was amazing because parking downtown near the Plaza is a nightmare. I would highly recommend a stay at the Sage Hotel anytime!
Wasn’t sure at the time of booking if this would be the best place or not, but turned out to be a great location, very quiet, and easy walking distance to everywhere in Santa Fe. Very close to the train station, Georgia O’Keeffe museum and Iconik coffeehouse which had the best breakfast! Well not a super charming boutique hotel it’s still had great Santa Fe stale and very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Also discovered great new tap room with cocktails around the corner serving pizza from next-door.
Cozy, nicely decorated room in the local style. Very friendly staff which made it feel like a temporary home, not an anonymous hotel chain. Many good restaurants in 10 min walking distance. The first time in a long time that I saw water-based heating that doesn't make noise at night (like the typical air-blowing heaters in 99% of hotel rooms). Totally recommend to stay there if you are planning to explore Santa Fe and surroundings!
Furniture layout in King room made for a very narrow space between the dresser and end of bed making it difficult to get our luggage through. Otherwise room was nice. Very pet friendly, although the potty area is way back behind the parking lot and it’s just dirt. They do have poop bags so that was great. Hot breakfast was quite good. Location is great! So many shops, restaurants close by and Santa Fe Plaza is a must!
The hotel is beautiful and has a great location. We were very impressed by the restaurant, and we wished several times we would have eaten there instead of restaurants in the nearby area. The restaurant and hotel staff were perfect. Our room had a balcony, which was a great plus. The hotel shuttle to the Plaza and other sites was amazing, esp since parking can be a problem near the Plaza. Loved Hotel Santa Fe.
The property is well located. facilities ( we had a kitchen) superb. owners clearly take a great deal of time focussing on the little details. breakfasts are superb and can also buy coffees / ice cream out of hours. we considered this the best place we have stayed in NM, although clearly Santa Fe is more expensive than other areas and we paid up for this property.
This is a beautiful and unique inn/hotel well-located near the central plaza in Santa Fe. The staff, from the front desk to the concierge through housekeeping were all incredible. The rooms are decorated in a Morrocan/Thai style with the bathroom walls decorated with unique mosaics. Really charming and fun.
We stayed here two years ago and came back again this year. We’ve been going to Santa Fe for an overnight each year in December to enjoy the Christmas spirit around The Plaza. We choose a different hotel every year since 2018. We liked this one so much we came back.
The hotel is in a wonderful location right in the center of Santa Fe and not far from the famous Canyon Road. The hotel is grand and the staff are helpful! There was also a nice free aperitivo and free breakfast which was wonderful before we went out for the day!
We were passing through Santa Fe and found that most hotels in the downtown area were $300 per night. Yikes! Took a chance on Motel 6 and had a great stay! Exceeded my expectations! Simple but clean. Felt safe!
Large comfortable king suite. Shower had the best water pressure. Convenient location for us and parking. It is not near The Plaza, but maybe a 10min. drive. Overall I would stay here again.
The complimentary breakfast was very generous. The coffee was excellent and the staff very attentive. The location of the hotel was great, could easily walk to the plaza and restaurants.
Location easy to find and restaurant choices are close by. Plenty of parking and check in staff were friendly and helpful. Cheaper than staying in Santa Fe center.
Great location. Cool old hotel. Rooms are small but very efficiently furnished. So close to the Plaza I’m not sure there is a better hotel location in Santa Fe.
