It was nice but the staff just assumed we wanted a king bed when I requested 2 queen beds and then couldn’t change rooms

The staff here is terrific. Smiling, helpful and sincere. The amenities are great. We were talking with the general manager Brian Curiale about our stay and our life and he surprised us with a bottle of wine and cheese platter for our 40th wedding anniversary. It really made our 6 day stay so memorable. We thank them again. We were staying out there for an annual event and will definitely be back. Thank you Marriot for making us feel like family and so comfortable.
Sincerely
Mr and Mrs Frank Romo.

The bar/bar staff was AMAZING. Friendly & knowledgeable. The rooms carpet was FILTHY. It looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in quite a while. Layout of the hotel was very confusing & awkward.

Mahwah is a small quaint town but is bustling.
Mahwah is a small quaint town but is bustling. The people here are very courteous and friendly. The only negative is that there were no easily accessible shopping malls but there were a few stand alone department stores just no one stop shopping experiences. Otherwise it was great!

· The regular staff kindly, The view amazing, the breakfast staff not the best but the diner staff is perfect. The old man is my favourite :)
· The bathtube was f.ucken dirty. My partner had to cleaning at midnight... It was full of black hair my partner is brown... One more things. When i chose the room, I do because of the pictures. But under the king room was a beautiful picture about (It was further out) Club Level King Room. If I had known I choose that one because we wanted that room...
Why would they put you in a room in an area of renovations. The wallpaper in the hall was pealing, there was no base, the ceiling above the shower was cracked and paint pealing. We could hear people above us creaking the floor. When air conditioning came on, my husband thought a train was coming pass the inn. They had us go in a back door to get to our room.
We usually love staying in a Homewood Suites; this one was very disappointing!
The hotel was very nice. The lobby and my room were beautiful. Room was spacious, especially the bathroom area. There were 4 pillows on the bed; a lot of hotels only provide 3 pillows for a king size bed and when there’s two people you’ve gotta fight over them lol. Room was very clean— tub and toilet were sparkling.
Breakfast awesome...excellent choices and the dinning area very impressive..new and inviting.
Matthew at the front desk was very very attentive to answering our questions and really went out of his way in all matters concerned.
I have and will continue to stay at your hotel most definitely
Went for the weekend with some friends to Mahwah for a car show.
Decided to book a few rooms with Homewood suites & so happy that we did!
Roomy suites, TV’s in both living room & bedroom, generous breakfast, pretty court yard area with pool and chairs, super quiet.
Clean premises & easy parking.
The buffet style breakfast was amazing. The hotel is located 15 min from palisades mall and there is a nice restaurant just outside the property. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.Their pool is a decent size and our kids had a blast.
