The breakfast was shockingly good for a holiday inn. They had hot and cold breakfast options, juice, coffee, and baked goods. The room was clean and comfortable. We thought it was close to the airport, but it was not that close, particularly in Vegas traffic.

Las vegas is good for shows, nature, gambling, gluttony.
Las vegas is good for shows, nature, gambling, gluttony. those that want to show off, criminals and thugs, very rich ostaentatious people, or those that are or pretend to be the creme of society. I hate it. Nasty, low class people. Around the strip anyhow. Lots of good hispanic culture in the burbs, and some bad facets of it too. There's something for everyone, but it's not great everywhere. best example of nasty part of USA culture. sorry to be so direct, but that's how I see it.

The casinos are so freaking noisy! At one point I heard a Karaoke singer, a DJ, piped in music and of course, all the machines at the same time! The food is extremely expensive. Slot machines are tight! I'm done with Las Vegas

We spent as much time exploring off-strip as we did on the strip. Each held unique experiences and I wish we had more time to see more shows and to visit more places.
On strip:
Blue Man Group & Mystiere we the shows we saw, both were excellent and wish we could have seen more Cirque de Solei shows.
Visited the Belagio to see the fountains, the conservatory and the chocolate fountain.
Visited Ceasars to see the Forum.
Off Strip:
Parked and enjoyed the Sphere. (Outside only as there was a concert event while we were there.)
Walked the Historic Railroad Hicking Trail (Starts by the Lake Meade Visitors Center. Goes 2.2 miles to the old millworks. Should have stopped there and walked back as path was nice and flat, easy hike for beginners. We continued from the millworks down to the Hoover Dam, another 2 miles. It started at an easy level and moved to a moderate level except when you reached the last part, just past the powerlines when you reach thebpaved walkway down to the new garage...steep is an understatement!! It may be paved, but it has to be close to be a 45° grade!! I highly recommend walking the 2.2 miles and headding back to the visitors center, then driving down to Hoover Dam.
Walked accross Hoover Dam, can't wait to see the new visitors center when it is complete.
Drove the scenic route at Red Rock. Each time I visit I fall more and more in love. The scenery is georgeous and just a short drive outside the city. Each time I visit I find new improvements: more/better parking areas off the scenic drive, new/more educational signage, path markers and detailed trailhead signs just to name a few.
Visited the Spring Preserve, a nice little gem tucked away in north Las Vegas. Beautiful gardens, a pretty little butterfly house, well otganized exhibits abiut the plants, history, geology and conservation efforts for the area.
We only stayed for five days and could have easily filled another five with more activities!!

The bathroom had mold in the tile and the wallpaper was torn with mold on and underneath. With the hand held shower head it was not helpful trying to hold the onto the grab bar and move the shower head to rinse. Not very clean bathroom, with the shower curtain getting all wet at the bottom the bath rug got all wet and didn't dry fast enough to use again.
All the staff were courteous and efficent and always happy to help. The location on the strip is very convenient. The hotel makes check-in and check-out very convenient.
For smokers this is also perhaps the only hotel left on the strip to offer smoking rooms which is probably the only reason we still stay on the strip. All hotels in Las Vegas should realize that the only reason the city exists and thrives at all is for FUN and not for health or anything even slightly virtuous.
This is a value for money hotel with Las Vegas Convention Center just opposite to it. It's at the end of Vegas Strip and provides access to whole strip.
No complimentary breakfast.
In morning, big top restaurant is the best option for breakfast. It's in casino area just on right when you go from lobby to casino. Room was very spacious and clean but house keeping is not everyday thought.
All in all, it was a pleasant stay without breaking bank account 😀
The hotel is beautiful and in immaculate condition. Every staff member that we came in contact with was the most friendly, most professional and most helpful that we've ever seen. One of the very best was Dennis Jones from Engineering. What an outstanding employee, you're very lucky to have him! I just can't say enough about how great our stay at the Luxor was and I can't imagine that there could be a better place to stay in all of Las Vegas.
Very nice hotel in Las Vegas downtown. Room as well as bathroom was very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a proper casino in the hotel so you can enjoy it very easily. Hotel also offers many discounts for the quests. The only challenge - yet of course not related to the hotel itself - was the fact that hotel is located quite far away from Las Vegas Strip district.
Friendly and helpful staff, room facilities good (similar to UK Travelodge) and quiet at night in the hotel so a good sleep! Good buffet style breakfast with varied items. 20 minute walk to the strip but we got taxi back late at night (about 15$ from a hotel on the strip). The hotel met all our requirements so will stay here if we visit Las Vegas again
We had a late night arrival into Las Vegas and did not want to stay on the strip. This location was perfect for us, it was close to the highway, but far enough away that you did not hear traffic all night long. The hotel was clean, beds comfortable and had shopping close by to stock up on supplies for our 2 week trip to the national parks.
Hotel is great for family vacation as it’s not in the middle of the busy part on the strip .
At the same time it’s walking distance to all other interesting venues. It’s great for exploring Las Vegas but not for gambling and partying as there is no casino what suited us as a family
Pool is decent and service very professional.
staff was very professional. hotel was extremely clean. location is ideally located to visit the entire area which was our purpose-to look for a new home. room was very comfortable and extremely easy to live in for 10 days. i highly recommend this Residence Inn in Las Vegas South. best hotel ever.
The Palazzo is a premier location on the strip, with all of the amenities, restaurants, nightlife and shopping you can want in one place. The staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious and clean, and this luxurious hotel is one we have made our go-to when going to Las Vegas!
It is the best place to stay, cheap, near all the hotels and casino, free parking, no resort fee.
Each suite has its own kitchen, very beautiful place to stay.
The persons on the front desk are really respectful and helpful people. I definitely come back to this hotel
We had a rental car making this a convenient location to get to the Las Vegas Strip and the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. Of all the places we stayed on a two week trip this had the best breakfast by far. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel was well maintained.
It was hard to find an affordable hotel in Las Vegas, but still have the comfortable and luxury stay of Las Vegas. Desert Rose was the perfect fit for this. The location was perfect, 5 min walk and you’re on the strip. Nice staff and good looking room and bathroom.
This is one of the older hotels on the strip and it was very apparent when we were in the hotel. The rooms were dark, the AC was very loud, and the whole place smells of cigarette smoke. However, it was clean, cheap, good location and the staff were really lovely.
Central strip location is probably the best in Las Vegas. The hotel is attached to mediocre casino. Reception is small and not always staffed. There are no other facilities you would normally associate with a hotel reception. You get what you pay for.
The atmosphere in the hotel is super cool. Every detail is linked to France from the music to the wallpaper and of course the whole shopping experience.
it is located very well on the strip, allowing us to see many of Las Vegas highlights.
Cheap and comfortable. Quite far from the center of Vegas, but there is a good bus connection and Walmart shopping center is within walking distance. Very good alternative to staying in expensive hotels on The Strip.
The location is great but the actual hotel is in need of a major facelift. With how quickly things change on the strip, the Mirage is definitely falling behind, but it is super cheap, so that’s nice.
Nice place in the downtown, close to Freemont street which is an attraction on its own. Not so crowded as Strip and a lot more convenient and cheaper comparing to hotels in the city center
Hotel is located perfectly on the strip with access to everything you might want to visit while you are in Las Vegas. The room was spacious and the price was great.
