As the gateway to the Glacier National Park for both winter...
As the gateway to the Glacier National Park for both winter and summer activities its a great location. The downtown area has been preserved with great restaurants and bars and the local Great Northern pub is perfect for a friendly beer to watch some sport. Give the team at Whitefish Outfitters a call for some wild winter or summer activities. If commuting in on the train, the station is only a block from town and a couple of blocks from the accommodation options. Come for a weekend or a full week, plenty to see and do.

The hot tub was nice.
The hot tub was nice. Breakfast was good well spread out and stocked. Bed was comfortable the pillows were soft and it was nice to have pillows that fit the bed. We liked the room. It would gave been nice to have the fireplace working.

I had mentioned on the phone it was my birthday. Upon arrival I was very surprised to find that he had decorated the table with balloons and candy. So sweet. The room was squeaky clean and the beds were comfortable. Eva, the owner is fantastic also. I loved the special touches like the swing chair outside the rooms and the nice homey decor of the room. Bfast seating a bit sparse but we always got a table. Although not as vast as some ski areas it offered enough for a week. On mountain food offering unimaginative but typical of most of USA resorts. Town of Whitefish nice for food a shopping. Also, non-downhill ski options good like snow shoeing and xcountry at/near Glacier National Park, Isaac Walton House.

It’s owned by the same people as the Firebrand across the street and the Whitefish Lodge, so you can take their Shuttle to the lodge and, for instance, leave your luggage at the Firebrand while waiting for the train. The beds were very comfortable and sparkling clean, the bathroom was nice and clean. Plenty of towels. But the best part is it is a fraction of the price of the neighboring hotels.
