As the gateway to the Glacier National Park for both winter and summer activities its a great location. The downtown area has been preserved with great restaurants and bars and the local Great Northern pub is perfect for a friendly beer to watch some sport. Give the team at Whitefish Outfitters a call for some wild winter or summer activities. If commuting in on the train, the station is only a block from town and a couple of blocks from the accommodation options. Come for a weekend or a full week, plenty to see and do.

We loved the many river parks on Whitefish River and dog-friendly moderate hikes. The alpine slides were very fun too. Beautiful mountain town with lots of opportunities for hiking, boating, swimming, and mountain biking.

There were a lot of restaurant choices all within walking distance of each other. Town was very nice with parks, hikes, and rivers to explore. Very nice place to start your tour of Glacier National Park.
Diego is the best! I felt that he gave us his personal attention to make our stay great. I had mentioned on the phone it was my birthday. Upon arrival I was very surprised to find that he had decorated the table with balloons and candy. So sweet. The room was squeaky clean and the beds were comfortable. Eva, the owner is fantastic also. I loved the special touches like the swing chair outside the rooms and the nice homey decor of the room. It felt like a home, not a sterile hotel room. The continental breakfast even had homemade baked goods.
Room and bed were comfortable, small balcony and view of the river was wonderful and breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Mark, one of the owners went the extra mile to give us needed information. Downtown was close by and offered many good restaurants and shops and sometimes music. Whitefish and surrounding areas were easy to reach and showed us beautiful sights. The highlight of our visit to Montana was Glacier National Park and that was spectacular, minus all the cars and too many people.
You can’t beat the location, and the inn is charming. We prefer boutique hotels to traditional bed & breakfasts, and the Farmhouse Inn is a nice combo of both. All of the following work well for us, yet you should know and be prepared for the these things, which aren’t for everyone: there is no lobby or staff onsite; you’ll get a code to access exterior and interior doors; there is no daily housekeeping. Parking is free and right out back. The food at the restaurant is really good!
Staff was pleasant and helpful.. Room was clean. TV worked great. Indoor pool water was sparkling clear. Washer and dryer available for public use, and the washer was free. The dryer was $2.00. Breakfast was tasty and abundant. Neighborhood was safe. The price was excellent compared to the surrounding hotels closer to the National park. First floor rooms had an access inside motel and also a door directly into parking lot to bring luggage in.
An excellent location. It’s owned by the same people as the Firebrand across the street and the Whitefish Lodge, so you can take their Shuttle to the lodge and, for instance, leave your luggage at the Firebrand while waiting for the train. The beds were very comfortable and sparkling clean, the bathroom was nice and clean. Plenty of towels. But the best part is it is a fraction of the price of the neighboring hotels.
The staff was awesome Stephanie at the desk was so helpful about park entry times she is so warm and friendly! Then there was Steven our shuttle driver if we could pack him up and take him home with us we would, he also had great knowledge of Glacier and downtown whitefish. Even the gal at the desk that thinks she comes off rude was very helpful. One our best best western experiences ever!
The house was decorated nicely and was very comfortable for a family stay. The fenced back yard was great for our dogs. The location made for easy access to Whitefish and Glacier National Park. There were lots of amenities and kitchen items for use during the rental. We enjoyed star gazing from the porch at night. Off street parking is also available.
this hotel was amazing ! a quick walk to downtown and Amtrak station! clean and comfortable with a modern look. there is a reading nook to relax in the hotel that isn’t in your room as well as a wood fire sauna outside. free coffee at the front desk and can purchase waffles that are delicious.
The location was perfect for us - between Whitefish and the Lodge. The Quarry is quiet community. Our host, Michael, was very attentive and his communication with us was great. The kitchen was fully equipped and the entire house was so clean! I highly recommend this property and host.
The hotel is very nice, and we had a good dinner in the restaurant. The room was very spacious and convenient. The grounds were nice, and location just outside of the downtown in Whitefish convenient.
The hotel was well located for Whitefish and the surrounding area. The staff were incredibly helpful from start to finish. The pool was a decent size for a hotel. The hotel was kept very clean.
Breakfast was the worst part of the stay compared to other available hotels offerings. However, they had great eggs, banana's and yogurt. Would have nice to have hot selections.
The location of the hotel was great. Loved the hot tub to relax after a day skiing. They also had a build your own hot chocolate station for guests after a day skiing, so cute!
