The breakfast was great. Everything was fresh and tasty. I requested a bottom floor due to mobility issues and they gave us a large room with handicap access.
This lodge is 5 minutes’ walk from the Whitefish Lake Golf Club. A free shuttle to downtown Whitefish, the Amtrak station, and the airport is available.

We had a girls weekend/ bday getaway with 8 girls! The manager Jen was very accommodating! And we had connecting rooms which was awesome! Their facilities are awesome too, fire pits, giant outdoor hot tub and shuttle! Definitely will be back! Thank you!

As the gateway to the Glacier National Park for both winter and summer activities its a great location. The downtown area has been preserved with great restaurants and bars and the local Great Northern pub is perfect for a friendly beer to watch some sport. Give the team at Whitefish Outfitters a call for some wild winter or summer activities. If commuting in on the train, the station is only a block from town and a couple of blocks from the accommodation options. Come for a weekend or a full week, plenty to see and do.

We loved the many river parks on Whitefish River and dog-friendly moderate hikes. The alpine slides were very fun too. Beautiful mountain town with lots of opportunities for hiking, boating, swimming, and mountain biking.

There were a lot of restaurant choices all within walking distance of each other. Town was very nice with parks, hikes, and rivers to explore. Very nice place to start your tour of Glacier National Park.
This stay was amazing from the minute we pulled into the parking lot. It’s a beautiful little lodge, and feels like you are living in Montana (not just at a random hotel that could be in any city). The environment constantly reminded us of the beauty of the area. The staff treated you like family, cooked for you, and couldn’t have been more accommodating. I would stay here again, and have already recommended The Duck Inn to friends and family. They went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional.
Very clean hotel with nice spacious room and a large bathroom. It was way better than some of the more pricy hotels we have stayed at recently. The morning breakfast was good, a nice spread clean dining room. The staff was very helpful, from the check in to the housekeeping staff and the folks manning the kitchen. Kitchenette, mini fridge, microwave in the room was a bonus. A 24 hour supermarket across the street and the incredible downtown for Whitefish 1.5 miles away was great.
Staff was pleasant and helpful.. Room was clean. TV worked great. Indoor pool water was sparkling clear. Washer and dryer available for public use, and the washer was free. The dryer was $2.00. Breakfast was tasty and abundant. Neighborhood was safe. The price was excellent compared to the surrounding hotels closer to the National park. First floor rooms had an access inside motel and also a door directly into parking lot to bring luggage in.
Cabin was clean, well thought out space wise, and had everything we needed for one last Mother/Son adventure before college. Easy drive to hiking in Glacier National Park. Also a great hiking trail a short walk away (Danny Oh). Really appreciated the washer and dryer with all the outdoor activities. Only a short drive down to super cute little Whitefish :)
The property was beautiful! A very homely feel and fabulous decor. The bedrooms were super comfortable and clean. The staff were so lovely and friendly! The free snacks in the lobby were such a nice touch, made me feel like the hotel really cares about their guests on a deeper level than most places. I would love to return in the near future!
Fantastic lodge with big rooms. You can tell this hotel mainly caters for the winterseason. The jacuzzi was great for the kids. Breakfast offered a wide selection of foods and great quality. Great place for a trip to Glacier, and I would image a great place for winter sports.
This was our first time in Whitefish and we had a great time at The Pine Lodge. The pool was great, having the paddleboards and bikes was an added bonus. The room was nice, the breakfast was simple but was perfect for us. The location to downtown was perfect as well.
Charming older building that is lovingly decorated, fabulously comfortable, clean as can be, and run by exceptionally friendly and helpful people. It was the least expensive hotel thus far and the most comfortable; best value by far.
great location close to the station and downtown Whitefish. We were made to feel very special and loved the coffee after a day of snow activities. Make this a go to in Whitefish
Wonderful Property. Great location. We were able to walk to all the hot spots in beautiful Whitefish. The property was clean and comfortable. We will definitely return!
The location was great! A 30 min drive from Whitefish lets you get up in the morning and be ready for the day. The hotel room was great, with great sheets and the matress.
Truly felt like an upscale hotel and the central location was perfect. We enjoyed the happy hour in the bar and appreciated the complimentary airport shuttle.
Breakfast was incredible - best waffles I’ve ever had. The hotel was cozy, personable, and only a 15 min walk to town. Staff was extremely helpful and kind.
