Was told that I had a balcony and a lake view when booked. Was only giving the lake view. Was told we had several complaints of us being too loud. WE WERE OUT THE WHOLE EVENING AND RETURNED AT 1 am then went to bed. Had the knocking on door & calling our room. I had a person above me that sounded like he was bowling all day and night. Had kids running up and down the hallways and they didn’t do anything about it. I will not stay there again. AND THEY ALSO CHARGED US almost $400 a night and we didn’t even get our right room. Oh and the elevator was out too. And not one mention about that until we were bringing items in.

Breakfast was wonderful! My husband wasn't feeling well so they let me take some to the room. Then at 2:30am on 4/23 my husband really wasn't feeling well. Drew had to call an ambulance and they came along with police and firemen. My husband was taken to the hospital and released a few hours later! Everyone at the hotel were concerned and happy that it wasn't serious! The front desk woman with the red hair was outstanding in customer service, I just can't remember her name. But she is amazing and definitely an asset to your hotel!

Katie with green or purple hair is from phenomenal. The morning lady at check out who had on a white/blue shirt or a white/black shirt was slightly snobby and rude during check out. She said we could either go into the spa area or outside while the lobby was going to get cleaned. We was on our way to spa/hot tub area but she gave us $40 out her pocket from I guess to go across the street to eat at Perkins after being snobby.she would bitch over the pettiest crap. She knew we was stranded with car issues and we had to wait for our ride

Lots of options clustered in canal park so it's walkable, rich history and Baytown culture. Sun worshipers and leafers beware, the low elevation and Lakeshore means more overcast days and later peak colors than the surrounding areas. Plan accordingly.

I loved the canal area with all the restaurants and shops. It was fun to see the big ships and the aerial lift bridge.

I would not visit Duluth again.
I would not visit Duluth again. Although interesting sites available to see. I found Duluth to be congested with traffic. The streets dont make sense. Hard to get to the tourist stops. The city just didn't make any sense how u get into Duluth at the start.

Duluth is a wonderful place to visit.
Duluth is a wonderful place to visit. They have things to do for families, friends, short or long visits. Must visit Canal Park, Lift Bridge, Enger Tower, Miller Mall and Rose Garden. Lots of restaurants, Fitzer, Grandma's and Perkins too. Talking walks along the shore, skipping rocks or just enjoying the fresh air will help you sleep better. The kids will love the water, trains and a visit to Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls.

We enjoyed Canal Park , Glensheen, and eating at Clyde's Iron Works and Grandma's. We drove along the North Shore to Gooseberry Falls and ate at Betty's Pies. Would recommend all of these, but not when the Canadian fire smoke is so dense you can hardly see the lake! Getting around was easy but don't follow Mapquest directions!
The location was perfectly central to Canal Park, which made walking around really easy. The room was very clean, and the Nespresso in room 5 was a very nice amenity. Check-in and check-out was a breeze, which was nice since I was a bit apprehensive about a no-reception check-in as I hadn’t run into that before. Reserved parking was a pleasant bonus too, as parking can be quite limited in that area.
Would highly recommend this place (mainly room 5) for a cozy and romantic getaway.
The view of the harbor was spectacular. The room was beautiful. The accommodations, including the ride to Bentlyville was nice. Outdoor Hot tub and the sauna are epic.
We were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary. The facility and views were awesome. Definitely Duluth's finest and most unique place to stay. We will come again on special occasions.
TRU seems to be an attempt a re-imagining hotels to be more social. The lobby is large, inviting, and has lots of creative places to hang out as well as a pool table open to encourage gathering. TRU gets bonus points for being pet friendly, but note that a $75 non-refundable fee applies!
It was a very nice hotel and room. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was excellent. My son loved the pool and it was very pet friendly. My dog was being loud and the staff very nicely let me know it was an issue and I appreciated that.
Warm & inviting with friendly employees and very nice continental breakfast. Hotel built on side of hill so view from room on our side of building looked out over part of Duluth and highways, gave something to view.
The rooms are much less expensive than the Canal Park rooms. It is exceptionally clean. I’ve stayed in many hotel rooms of a wide range of cleanliness and always I’m confident that this Econo Lodge will be clean.
The Inn is great for a short stay when travelling in the area. It is near Duluth and the highway, so it is very easily accessible. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is good. No major complaints.
Breakfast was very fresh and area was very clean. Favorite was the ham and sausages. Plenty of tables available. Great location in the center of Canal Park. Free parking right across the street.
Location was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. View was great also very nice hotel I would recommend it to anyone going to Duluth. Only problem was the mattress very hard
Great front desk staff! Fun views. Nice pool. Decent location within walking distance to much of Duluth. Better price than most similar hotels when we traveled.
