They cancelled my reservation on 2/29 for me because my daughter became sick. My card was still charged by you even after I reached out to both.
We attended a play at Bemidji Community Theatre. I recommend taking in the theatre. Alice in Wonderland (April 2024). Good performance, amazing costumes, fair price and lots of fun.
Take a drive, the country views of nature are wonderful. Itasca State Park is close by. Go see where the Mississippi River begins. Have a picnic and go for walks.

The lake is beautiful!
The lake is beautiful! Our room at The Hotel Bemidj was nice and had the most comfortable bed I have ever had in a hotel. The front desk person was Gina and she was very sweet and helpful. Bemidji has a great antique mall and of course you have to stop by and say Hi to Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox! Nice destination or stop over to your destination!

Go see the Lost Forest !
Go see the Lost Forest ! It's a bit of a drive but quite beautiful. Also walk, and drive, around Itasca State Park ! Great boutique restaurants but try some of the smaller bar and grills that are NOT downtown. There's also a small museum with several very interesting and beautiful exhibits and a gift shop where we bought a burled wooden bowl, very reasonably priced ! And the lake ? Bemidji Lake is HUGE, and lovely for watching sunsets.

A delightful place !
A delightful place ! We ate a delicious, graciously served supper at Sparkling Waters with a view of the lake. The gentleman at the Tourist Information office was genuinely friendly and well informed about the area. People in Bemidji are rightly proud of their town.

Bemidji is a beautiful city with a lot to offer!
Bemidji is a beautiful city with a lot to offer! The restaurants, the Bemidji State university facilities, Lots of lakes with a wide variety of area fishing, A wonderful dog park that we have discovered and go there every time we are in Bemidji. Another favorite place for us to frequent in Bemidji is The Corner Bar - excellent food & great service!!! This trip We dined at Ruttger’s Lakeside dining...The service and food was excellent! Ruttger’s also have cabins, condos and hotels rooms that they rent out. We loved the ambiance so much that we made reservations to stay there while we visit relatives over the Christmas holidays!!!
Al's wife Kristine writing. Breakfast was fine, I don't remember anything hot except pancakes, which I don't eat, and maybe oatmeal, which I love. I think there may have been sausage and biscuits which I think are wonderful! My husband is a spoiled brat who requires eggs and bacon. I thought the breakfast was very good. I remember how sweet and juicy the oranges were - I ate 2 of them ! The coffee at the hotel at breakfast and in the lobby was EXCELLENT !!
Clean room, comfortable and fresh bed, friendly and helpful staff at check in and check out. Good recommendation for breakfast restaurant nearby. Older hotel that strives to maintain cleanliness. Look forward to returning when visiting our granddaughter at Bemidji State University or Itasca State Park.
The check in staff were friendly and amiable.
Location was good - plenty of nearby restaurants and a supermarket across the road.
Hotel appeared to me newly renovated.
Hotel and room were exceptionally clean.
Room smelled fresh.
Breakfast was available earlier than published time.
This hotel is located in a very lively part of Bemidji, surrounded by restaurants, banks, supermarkets, etc. Our stay here was comfortable as there is a delightful pool and jacuzzi and free parking. There are also laundry facilities.
The pool and hot tub were great. The hotel is nicely positioned. The breakfast provided was a cooked breakfast and to a very high standard. Best we have ever had. The rooms and hotel layout were also at a high standard.
location was great in a quiet area. It lived up to its description on booking. Very clean, beds very comfortable. needed assistance on arrival and owner came right away and resolved the issue. Would stay here again.
We loved this hotel, our room was a good size and clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The guest laundry was clean and reasonably priced. The breakfast was good.
It is next door to Applebee's.
The one bedroom king suite is a very nice option for families, the kids can be in the "living room" area on the hide a bed and there's a separate room that has a king bed and it's own TV.
My husband and I were very pleased with the breakfast. Friendly staff, very clean dining area and a nice variety of breakfast foods. Extra happy to find gluten free muffins!
