It was a bustling weekend - Memorial Day weekend is a good time to visit. So much to explore, lots of vendors set up in the different parks, farmer's markets, art vendors, food trucks, music. Something for everyone. Check out the little local shops, museums and definitely go see Big Ole!

Alexandria is great, but the hotel was not.

Alexandria is great, but the hotel was not. No one could stay there as they had no cleaning or staff. There were a lot of mad people. I was in town as my mother had a stroke and I was there from Arizona to see her. Luckily we found a hotel that had a cancellation so we could stay. What a dump and what a mess. If they are in business much longer it would surprise me.

Alexandria is a very nice small city.

Alexandria is a very nice small city. There are lots of good places to eat and lakes every where (300) in the general vicinity of Alex. They seem to have a very good mix of businesses and good enterainment.

Beautiful town with lots of shopping and great choices for dining. The country is gorgeous. It has a delightful Winery just outside of town. Carlos Winery is a fun place to go and try wines and also shop. Willie J's is a part of Holiday Inn and had great food and fun server. We would go there again.

The price was very high because of the wine festival in town. The breakfast was good but ran out of food way too early My wife and I wanted to relax in the hot tub, but the water was dark and smelled bad. Very disappointed

Love all the lakes and people were friendly.

Love all the lakes and people were friendly. We rented a pontoon boat for 4 hours on lake Carlos and it connects with other lakes. Highly recommend getting out on lakes. Area seems like a retirement city since lots of older people. Nothing wrong with that but not a young vibrant city.

Location of the hotel was excellent, located close to Walmart, Target, and gas stations. The breakfast options were more than enough and the food tasted way better than usual hotel breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. Very comfortable beds in the room and room were very clean. Overall I would definitely stay here again if coming to Alexandria.

The pillows were absolutely wonderful. They were the most comfortable pillows I've ever had at a motel/hotel. Others I spoke to thought the same. I was also glad to find that the Gideon Bible was available. It had not been so during the Covid event.

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, based on its convenient location just off the interstate and surrounded by all sorts of restaurants, bars, gas stations and stores. There is a pool with jacuzzi which was clean and relaxing.

The pool area was nice very open and welcoming, hot tub would've been nice if the kids didn't take it over. Breakfast wasn't anything great, it was ten dollars about what we paid @ Perkins down the road.

A refreshing pool and hot tub experience. Not too crowded there though the hotel is full. Nice check in staff. However check-in staff were rarely available.
