The Temple Theatre is a must, a great old venue with a lot of character. The Castle Museum/Historical Society of Saginaw County is another beautiful site to see with a lot of history. Tony's Italian Restaurant on Gratiot or State St have exceptional Italian food. Most of the streets are north/south or east/west oriented so not difficult to move about Saginaw. I wish more of the old downtown area was being brought back to life.

We stayed in Saginaw because all reasonably priced accommodations in nearby Frankenmuth were already booked. We were heading there for their Bavarian Fest. Saginaw was a drivable distance option, and we didn’t spend much time there. We did, however take in the Saginaw Castle, which is an historic post office converted into a beautifully executed local history museum. Quite impressive.

This place was a catfish hotel.
This place was a catfish hotel. When arriving I saw local vagrants all around. The neighborhood is sketchy, and the whole hotel was dirty. Room was filthy, bedding was scratchy and smelled horrible. If you like clean spaces, do not go here.

Overcharged me $50 right from the beginning and then staff argued with me saying they couldn’t do anything about it. Wanted to swim but pool was down. Thought they had a hot tub but they did not. Ice machines were also all broke

Hotel was not prepared to feed an influx of guests so on the morning of July 13, food was out at 7:30. We never got to talk to a manager and no compensation was offered. We had to go out and buy breakfast for my 92 yea old mother-in-law. On the 14th there was sufficient and good food for breakfast.
The location is great and plenty of good shopping and restaurants nearby.
We stayed in a King room in Relax Inn for about 5 days. I felt at home and felt very welcomed by the staff. This place is pet friendly, very calm and quiet during all hours of the day, and the views from the sky are incredible during morning and dusk. The staff are amazing and very accommodating. We had our light fixture go out during a storm and the staff had it fixed for us by the afternoon. We did not leave our dogs in the room and we returned to clean made beds.
It is some sort of historical mansion, very romantic. There is a main building and a smaller house. It's different than other hotels, sort of unique. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is large. Parking is free. The breakfast is quite good, that day having a hot and continental breakfast. It was a nice touch that there were two small chocolates left in the room with water.
There is a lake outside.
The location has a lot of potential.
I liked that the hotel lobby and the room had new furniture. Good quality and the decor was very nice. The crown molding in the room and the molding above the doors gave a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable and there was really nice lighting in the room. Nice to have two mirrors for getting ready for the day, (one in front of the sink and one to the side with a sitting chair to put on make-up).
Location is accessible to everything Saginaw has to offer, including smooth interstate access!
Hotel has a few minor issues, but they switched out our room no hassle at all. Every morning there was a decent breakfast selection, rooms were clean and staff went above and beyond
All round 5-stars. We had a smooth check-in experience. Room and shared facilities were clean. Breakfast buffet had a good selection. The area is safe and close to a bunch of restaurants. And the staff were very friendly and helpful.
If you're in Saginaw Michigan and need a safe, but yet quite, let me also add Beautiful home inside & out, check this Gorgeous place out. The check-in was very easy, so was check-out. Book this home. You won't be disappointed.
my room was clean but very dark even with all the lights on. The location was good, the staff was friendly. I felt safe I was staying alone. The shower was good but tub very slippery no non skid strips in tub.
Location was great - right beside Macy's. Room was a good size and I liked the toilet separate from the shower. Breakfast was good and was different from Friday to Saturday, so that added variety.
The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Better than staff I've had at much nicer hotels. This is the only reason my rating was as high as it was.
We got great help from Ty Robinson at the front desk, when something did not go right with our reservation via booking.com.
The room was nice and clean, good bed.
