The property is in a great location. Close to the downtown area with a beautiful waterfall nearby of you like to explore. There are also plenty of places to eat near by. The staff were really great at meeting my family's last minute request and accommodations! We truly appreciate the hospitality. We will definitely stay again!

Trip was very long, even coming from Ironwood. At night the fog was really interesting, as other driver's would not slow to the speed limit; or below. The town has a lot of interesting points, and if I get back up there I will be sure to enjoy them. I only had time for the rock hunting trip, as the injury I sustained made me leave early. If you need assistance, a great source of help is the local Police Department. They were exceptionally helpful in finding my way around.

We toured the Cliffs Shaft Museum,.
We toured the Cliffs Shaft Museum,. It was very interesting to see & hear about the mining history in the area. The tour guide did a great job.
We stayed at Jasper Ridge Inn & highly recommend it. Clean, very comfortable room at a good price. Also was in qiuet area, not too near the highway. Hot breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, bisquits & gravy, good coffee & tea, assorted bagels, pastries, breads for toast, english muffins, etc. Cookies, coffee & water in lobby when we arrived.
This was by far one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in. Everything was modern and clean. The 2 women staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. There is a small truck that sits outside in front of the hotel that offers treats like ice cream and slushes so that was nice. The pool was beautiful although a bit too warm and a bit too shallow. We'd definitely start again in the future.
Mediocre breakfast. Location is awesome. Outside looks decent; parking lot just ok.
Hotel inside is old and dark….. paint alone would help. Bathroom was VERY OUTDATED. No room to even put your toiletries or shaver! Plus side, decent furniture in the room, comfortable bed. We paid way too much for one night for this hotel, but it was a fall weekend.
There was the most lovely lady at the front desk. She was the nicest person . So very helpful. We frequented a few restaurants via her suggestion. I can't remember her name , but she was a very tiny lady with dark hair. The house keeping staff was wonderful as well. We'll be coming back . My son lives in Ishpeming .
The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the continental breakfast being offered. Great location for visiting the Marquette area, and more reasonable pricing at this location is what pulled us in two pay for two nights of lodging. It was strictly used for sleeping only.
The price was fair, compared to much older hotels with much higher prices. Good electronic hookups in room and good beds. Pool area was clean and enjoyable. Breakfast was adequate, with many choices available. We would stay here again.
The hotel was not a bad hotel. It could've been a little more updated but it was clean and great for a short stay. Jim at the desk gave us wonderful pointers on things to do. All the staff was awesome! 100% recommend.
The hotel was very clean, and its staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was nothing special, but if you don't want to go all the way into Marquette for accommodations, the location is perfect!
Very nice comfortable room with space around the hotel and a bowling alley with amazing food walking distance away. I especially liked the built in nightlight in the bathroom.
Traveling with a one year old can be hectic, but the staff at the Magnuson Hotel made it a breeze! Extra blankets, towels, trash bags, etc was very helpful!
