The breakfast was great and the location was very good.
Nice city to visit. Alot to do in area. Not sure why hotels fill up so quick.
This hotel the night staff was rude and would not assist in fixing remote to watch tv in room - only wanted reason to call cops rather than help out of town visitors. Refused to let me borrow pen or pencil to write phone number down for Choice Hotel complaint dept. Would visit Grand Rapids and area again just not this hotel. Hotel was nice and if rude person at night was not working might consider staying again but only if this person was not at hotel during stay

Your info on this hotel says there is an airport shuttle.
Your info on this hotel says there is an airport shuttle. There is not. As a result I had to keep my rental car over night to get to the airport. Cost me $50. No evidence you have reached out to me to reimburse this expense. I will be cautious about believing your marketing info on hotels in the future.

We attended a wedding at the Downtown Market place and this venue was very nice and the market place was very interesting with the varous merchants that are located there - I would like to visit there again in the near future to dine and take some food home. It is a very cool place! We considered visiting some other places in the Grand Rapids area before heading home but most activities were outdoors and most were too exerting for older people who are not that physically fit. The weather was too cool that day for outdoor things, too.

Great town, lots going on, good restaurants and great walking in downtown/midtown area. Neighborhoods are interesting if you have a chance to explore, probably by car. The Grand River, hence Grand Rapids, is beautiful here.

Grand Rapids was a great weekend trip for us.
Grand Rapids was a great weekend trip for us. We loved the Frederik Meijer Gardens, even though it was crowded due to spring break. We also enjoyed walking around town and enjoying the river. We had dinner at the Seafood Company and really enjoyed it. Next time, I think we will head over to the patio at the Amway Grand as it looked lively and fun.

There’s always something going on in the downtown area.
There’s always something going on in the downtown area. It’s a fun place to be. There a breakfast place on Monroe called LittleBird that is simply amazing!!! Highly highly recommend. Most of the restaurants and bars offer different types of food and drink. There’s something for all ages. Highly suggest using Uber if you don’t know the city well. Even paying $6 for a ride is a lot easier than walking for 15 minutes and feeling lost or uneasy or arguing with your significant other.
The spacious 2R Queen Suite; corner-end room we had allowed myself and three children to all dwell comfortably. I absolutely LOVED the buffet style breakfast and especially the cook to order grill appeal.. My omelette and pancakes were A1. I took advantage of the workout room, nice sized & depth pool, and the “hot tub!” It was so relaxing.
A few years ago, my family and I stayed at Embassy Suites (Durham, North Carolina) and I remember that hotel was FANTASTIC as well.
Embassy Suites is where it’s at, Grand Rapids!
Everything except the price. The location was perfection as were the staff, and highly convenient. As in most US hotels the room was more than adequate and the bedding extremely comfortable. So, by and large was the food, with a few exceptions and the bar was fine. The quibbles below should not put you off and if you get a good deal, it will be worth it.
The facility itself is very nice. The kitchenette is a nice touch, especially if you don't want to pay for every meal. It is centrally located to downtown Grand Rapids and the room was updated and clean. It is a great value if you're looking to save some money on your room and concentrate on having fun.
The property looks fine but it's not taken care of . All dors (glasses) are pretty dirty and our bathroom was as well. Smell of carry is to strong for hotel. Some good cleaning and better organized can make this place much better.
Location and I just love the hotel itself.. Beautiful rooms, little pricey but understandable just wish there were deals once in a while.. We come to Grand Rapids more. Love the brewery, and restaurants and just being downtown.
Wonderful staff, due to an unexpected hospital stay, they helped us cancel and rebook our trip. The hotel was clean comfortable and great location. We had a very nice stay. Will stay again, if visiting Grand Rapids.
Breakfast was great. Hotel staff was friendly and the suite was cool: dishes included. Fireplace outside. Near all major stores. Great place to stay outside of Muskegon if you’re going to Michigan Adventures.
The location of the hotel is quite good. The Wifi make life easy to keep in touch with the family and colleagues. coffee in Room allows one to go out to look for breakfast.
the historical aspect of the hotel. The public areas are very well maintained and grand.
The staff were friendly and courteous.
live jazz in the main bar in the evening.
I had a fantastic experience, I was having a horrible day when I had arrived and the people who checked me in helped put me at ease and made the trip worth it
