Stayed at the Americas Best Inn.
Stayed at the Americas Best Inn. Booked a king room and wound up with two queens. The beds were way too hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were worse. I would not recommend this facility based on our one experience.

We stayed in Gaylord, so that we could go to Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark. It was super easy to get to our destination from Gaylord and there are a lot of restaurants around as well as grocery stores.

Nice area to spend a few days. Close to Lake Michigan towns and lots to do in the area especially outdoors! Good food choices nearby and in town. Mary's Stein Haus has delicious German food and their staff was wonderful! Huge portions!

Gaylord is the great outdoors all in one, all year long.
Gaylord is the great outdoors all in one, all year long. Anything you want to do outside, you got it. Hiking, fishing, hunting, ice fishing, skiing, snowmobiles, mudding your truck. Alpine Chocolate Haus is excellent little shop for sweets while you're here.
A new hotel is always nicer than that "used" look. Nice to be able to park right near the door. Although I-75 runs right by the hotel, since my room was on the side away from the expressway, I didn't notice much noise. The roll-down blackout blind on the window was super-- blocked out all light. Comfy bed. Great shower, fluffy towels. And the oatmeal was delicious :-)
We left the hotel at 9:30 pm and didn't stay overnight. Too many issues with this property so we drove home instead of staying the there. Loud music and noisy people. Many people coming and going. Cars and vans in the parking lot with people inside that were not coming inside. We did not feel safe and were worried that there would be trouble.
The hotel in general new and healthy but the only thing was a surprise that there were no room service, I stay four days with my two workers we clean the room our self although we were very tired after coming from work late, next time I will find a hotel with room service
We traveled around Lake Superior and stayed in this hotel for one night on our way back home to Toronto. We arrived late evening and checked out after breakfast. Room was clean and comfort, breakfast was really good and staff was friendly.
There was an available bed. The hotel was nice, it was clean and well apportioned. This is the first time I have stayed in a hotel that had space for hearing impaired. That was a VERY nice feature and made me feel a little more secure.
off the beaten path. far from the madding crowd at the hub of the Walmart side of the expressway. priced high enough that the hotel doesn’t appear to have long term tenants living there on state or federal vouchers. yet.
This hotel is close to many restaurants and stores. The breakfast was really good, and the man serving in it kept it very clean and stocked. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Good value for sure!
Everything was very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast options are excellent for what you pay to stay. Big Buck Brewery is next to the hotel, with great food and live music.
Staff was friendly and quick to check my family in. The room was spacious and clean. With the hotel completely booked we had the pool and hot tub to ourselves. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
Honostly we were only able to sleep there because family had a event at their bar and we helped. Only wanting to stay there to help for a few then go bk to hotel to relax.
Beautiful location, friendly helpful staff, AWESOME room style (we got the loft room with 4 twin beds, it was SO fun). Way better than any other hotel in Gaylord.
Great location if you're resting mid travel, quick exit onto 75. Hotel was fully booked and I had no issues with noise, so I was very grateful for that!
