Staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. They upgraded us to a lakeside view. The view was spectacular. There was a balcony where you could sit and enjoy the views.

We didn’t do much exploring in Chatham but we did visit the little grocery/ convenience store. The people were friendly and even the neighbors of the store were friendly. I only wish I would’ve tried the ice cream across the street from the store.

Chatham is a small town near Munising.
Chatham is a small town near Munising. I stayed during a snow storm and didn't want to travel far. There is a co-op store with everything you need. I spent most of my weekend in the Chatham Pub. The atmosphere was very friendly, clean, and the food is decent. I had a very good time snowed in a very small town.

A small town with few restaurants, no gas station or convenience store for a quick coffee or rest stop. There was a small store with gas a few miles away with amazing Yupeer pastries. This town looks right for the millennial invasion of woke living although the NRA has left it's stamp in businesses in nearby towns. Lovers of nature will be in heaven.

Our accommodations exceeded our expectations and the inn keepers were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Our rooms were immaculately clean and very comfortable, The location was quiet and peaceful with manicured lawns and landscaping. If you are lucky on a rare occasion you might hear the nearby cows at MSU's Research Farm across the road "sing" as they change pastures. I clean houses myself so that is always something I look at when staying at a property. it was spotless. the rooms were nice and the bathrooms had a nice tub. & the owners were very nice. I would definitely return and recommend. it is a little drive to pictured rocks but well worth the drive.

It was a huge room that was freshly redone - the carpet still smelled new! Literally everything looked brand new. Fridge and microwave were convenient to have. The Yooper bar waiting in the room was a nice touch too. Everything was spotless. The owners/innkeepers are great w/communication too.
