Orlando has grown exponentially since I was last there 15 years ago. The traffice is horrific - high speed & crazy drivers. If you don't know where you're going, don't even try driving. Theme parks are not as nice as before. Hugely expensive from tickets to food. Universal used to be 1 park with 1 admission price. Now the same park is split into 2 parks, each with a separate admission. Then they tack on an extra $100 or more for Express Pass to avoid waiting in lines if you fall for that. They wanted $28.95 for a cheeseburger & $13 for a hot dog at Universal. We didn't go to Disney this time, but I'm sure it's the same deal.

I was surprised that their facilities exceeded my expectation. There was also a pool dj that made the ambiance more fun for vacationers. Having a number of nearby restaurants and pharmacies surrounding the area is very convenient. To check in and out is also a smooth process. The room is clean, and air-conditioning is working perfectly, especially in Florida warm weather.

Kitchen had been fully equipped by people who understand cooking and preparing meals. Everything worked marvelously well. Beds were comfortably equipped with good old-fashioned cotton sheets and not slippery acrylic! On a scale from 1 to 10, the other hotels we stayed at ranked between 2 and 5 - the "Villa" in Kissimmee ranked 10.

Also if you’re traveling to a Disney hotel (like me), you can’t get into the park + you can’t take your luggage with you. If you stay at a Disney hotel I recommend getting an Uber.
